I CANNOT BELIEVE people are telling you about toying, her body, she can stop and change her mind and does not owe anyone any explanation.

Hahah! I dated a lot of Cancers and only one of them was a jerk about sex. I would say no and he would try to use reverse psychology on me to get what he wants like saying how “we are grown” or “I think we are on different pages” or promising a fulfilling relationship if only I’d let him “love” me, yea right lol (or whats between my legs) lol. The foolery. The more I said no, the more determined he got. Such a douche.

Then there was another Cancer I had been friends with for years, we were supposed to lose our virginities together. He called himself warning me that it would hurt (I already knew that) but he said it right before we were about to get started and it freaked me out, so I bowed out last minute. He kissed me and said it’s okay. He left shortly after. He didn’t contact me for about two days, then he finally reached out and asked why I backed out on him. I told him he scared me. He said he was only being concerned and he didn’t want to admit he was mad because he didn’t want to make me feel bad or pressured. We stayed close friends, and then 11 years later we finally crossed the line. LOL. Still cool friends, but he’s married so I keep my distance.

In your case I’d say your Cancer most likely retreated into his shell for one of two reasons.
1. He’s embarrassed
2. He’s upset.
Judging by how sweet he was from the way you described he’s probably more so embarrassed than he is upset, and he’s probably nervous about contacting you because he may think “Damn, what if she thinks I only wanted sex. Maybe I shouldn’t have come on her so fast. Shit. She hasn’t called. I must’ve blew it. I’ll leave her alone.”
I personally don’t see anything wrong with you reaching out to see how he’s doing. You could do it very casually like “Hey there, hope all is well. Sorry we haven’t had a chance to speak, but I miss your company. Hope to hear from you soon.” Then you could leave the ball in his court. There’s no rule that says men cant feel rejected or scared too. Hell he doesn’t know you any better than you know him. I’m just saying.
