As a crab, I've lost my marbles over a woman, but is it real, is it them affecting us or do we just create passion in our own mind, do we create our own illusions?
IMHO, it takes one or more times of being "burned" to erase the latter, not sign dependent.
Even in those cases where one spends the rest of his/her life with their first one true love, I've seen more instances of them separating only to find each other after life has helped them grow rather than being in it for the long haul.

I think burned can temper them.
Maybe a better term is disappointment--that first time where you feel someone gives you wings and you feel like you're soaring, this is IT, the ONE, and you end up like Icarus.
You get carried away with the illusion, rather than paying attention to reality. More often than not due to self-absorption.
I think its worse in Western culture, where from youth we get bombarded with ideals, and the illusion is built upon those ideals. Then when flaws or just base incompatibility raises its ugly face, its like a baseball bat to the side of the head.

I think we do at times create passion in our mind because we crave it sooooo much! Ugh its a lot of soulless people in this world. smh One thing about all my exes, once the smoke is gone, they ALL realize they loss a good person, they learned valuable lessons and either A. become a better man for the next or B. try and come back.....well B never happens because I have yet to meet someone I would want to go back to.
To answer the OP: Yes! Whiny? No. Clingy? Fret? Yes!!!

FWP....continue to refer back to advice concerning how much of a user jerk your cancer friend is. Do this until it sinks in and then you won't be addicted. Until then, CA meetings are twice a week, cookies are provided, and we hope the program helps.

I know, I know you warned me so many times, you did, I remember every single word you wrote about this, that's my pisces dreamer and water sensitivity that makes me believe (stupidly) that all people have a heart and will I know and I'm going to start believing that my mom drop me and i hit my head as a kid because I don't seem to get it.
