What is a retention pond in astrology context

After seeing a spate of snippy individual posts about Cancers in different threads, I thought to create this thread where complaintants can post all their thoughts on how (enter your epithets here ) Cancer people are.
Think of it it as a public service courtesy of us Crab people.For those of you unfamiliar with the term retention pond, it is a phenomenon with new construction in the US, into which all the runoff from parking lots and the like is collected and concentrated, with the idea that the runoff doesn't pollute the rest of subsurface and/or surface water. Eventually, it becomes a toxic cleanup site.

I'm an architect and ironically, I just got off a lunch and learn about retention ponds.... lol.. but retention ponds are mostly to mitigate the effect a larger number of impervious surfaces on a site development and prevent flooding to the lack of natural absorption it catches the water from rain and bringing back to their natural sources of waters like nature will do... as part of the process the captured water get naturally "filtrated" to avoid bringing debris, oils or other foreign objects back to the clean bodies of water (lakes) but is not to clean the site per se is more to mitigate the damage of urban developments...
I just thought to brain dump...

I believe what he is trying to do is to filter all of us how come here and complain about cancers, he just want to group them in one thread... but in my opinion any attempt to establish rules DXP will be ignored...

Please don't get mad at me for saying this but the only way a Cancer has ever effected me is that I was astonished at how weak they were. I have known three Cancers and none of them could ever speak up for themselves. They let almost everyone run over them and these people where close to me so I would always have to be the one sticking up for them. I'm not sure if all Cancers are like this but the ones that have been in my life were.

My moms a Cancer. I guess she can get crazy sometimes but it takes a lot to get her there.
