True/False: Cancer men want you to make 1st move?

Do Cancer Men Want You to Make the First Move

Cancer men may appreciate subtle hints but often prefer the other person to initiate. If you're interested, taking gentle steps can encourage him to open up more. Pay attention to his responses and comfort level to determine if he prefers to be approached first or if he’s waiting for you to make the move.

If you know he's interested. We've only gotten as far as a hug so far..

Should I be the one to take it further, or wait for him to?

Would it change things if he had a Cap moon...?

I know one that does. He's an interesting specimen. He climbs sideways like a seagoat-crab..

True. We'd prefer either you make the first move, or give us strong hints that you want us to make the move. At times we're aloof, oblivious, but its all because we're unassuming out of respect. I know that sounds weird but its honest. I have a Cap Moon which makes me particularly shy, but if a girl I like is reciprocating, and she makes a move or shows her interest, I'll make the jump

I am a Cancer Sun / Cap Moon, It's his mars placement that will change his attitude. That said since he was born close to full moon, it gives him the mental confidence needed to make the first move....

Guess that explains why he teases me like we're 7 by whacking me with a pillow or sneaking up on me and scaring me..

A shy man's redirected sexual energy, perhaps?

Considering it took months and a few beers for him to get the confidence to get my phone # I'm going to have to take your advice, no?

If he is physically touching you then it's a good sign. A cancer man is not touchy feely with a woman he doesn't desire.

He didn't touch me for 2 months, then touched me 3 times at a BBQ last week. I thought it was because he'd had a few beers and/or was just craving sex with someone-anyone. Finally got a fully sober hug the day after that so I guess he might want more than sex?

We're both very attractive- not to be vain, just giving you the context- and I figured he might just want a quick roll in the hay. But, we're neighbors so I don't want to have a fling in my own backyard. Trying to see if he wants more than that..

Feelings will take time. You have to tantalize him a bit, kiss him but don't have sex...that should get him thinking. He needs to imagine being with you and so on....love comes to Cancer when he is able to set you within the context of his life. If you don't fit, he won't try to make it work.

Ha! Well, he's practically a Greek God, so I'm at least a Leo who takes no issue directing praise to others as well 😉

I'll roll with your advice. I relish discovering if he was worth waiting for..

If not, I'll wind up with another fabulous Cancer friendship.. I take that!

Cancer / eo friendships are excellent, there tends to be a hell of a lot of loyalty. This applies to only male//female friendships. Cancer men and leo men don't make great friends...atleast not in my case.

That's too bad- I have seen it once or twice. Usually the Cancer keeps added distance though. Tends to be because they get frustrated with seemingly immature/prideful choices by his Leo friend. Or the Leo being too proud to take the Cancer's advice, etc. Ah, well...

I had two cancers ask me out, and yes directly.

Even though most are shy, however being a cardinal sign, a cancer male WILL ask you out. Eventually lol.

Only if they REALLY like you.

Yeah, the last part. My male leo mate refused to take my advice on drinking and driving and fought with me. We stopped talking, a couple of years later he died in a horrific car crash driving drunk. Since I knew his parents well, it was pretty hard for me. I have sort of given up on leo guys since. Leo women are not a problem, I have never met a leo woman who wouldn't take my advice. We get along great.

My Cancer male nephew and brother seem to respond better with assertive women. Which is why they are constantly in relationship with fire and air sign women.

My brother's wife was an Aqua and now he is dating a Sag.

In my experience with cancer men (the 2 I dated) this is true. Or just the way it went down for me. I knew they were into me so I made the first move.
