I would understand if we had a friendship for just a few months, but I've the dude for years. I would think that I would know him like the back of my hand by now lol

Just realized that my friend of 2+ years (someone else, not the guy I usually talk about lol) is a Capricorn too LOL. We started talking about this last night. His birthday is on December 23rd. I was telling him, no wonder we get along so well. We crack jokes at each other so much. I was also telling him that in the 2-3 years that I've known you, I really don't "know you" very much. He laughed. I seriously don't know him very well. I know he's in the army, where he lives, his birthday and other minor details. We both met back when I played video games at one point in my life and we would always have fun with my other best friend who's a Aries (go figure on the Aries lol)
Point being. I call this person my good friend but I don't know much about him and it's been years. But when we talk and catch up on random stuff, it's like as if time never passed on by. Also, he never shows emotion at all. He never says, he misses me or anything. I joke around and say; "give me some attention friend" or "make time for me in your busy schedule". He'll respond with sarcasm ofc with a witty joke and I just laugh. But I would think that by now, an "imy friend" would've been said by now lol
