Are Caps Bashful When it comes to Compliments?

Do you guys get shy when someone compliments you?

My Cap guy just acts like I didn't say it but I can tell he feels it inside. 🙂 I think it improves his mood even if he's shy about showing it.

Not shy, just kinda awkward. Hate to be criticized though. lol.

My cap seems shy to me when I say sweet things to him..lol. He'll smile and put his head down in a way for me to not see that he's "blushing".. OR he'll laugh and say, "babe.. stop being so mushy with me.. *while grinning*" ... It can be any compliment of any sort.. How good he looks, how proud I am of him... How good he makes me feel... How great of a father he is.. & so on.. He really is ALL those things.. I can def see how you Caps get uncomfortable.. You're not the "mushy kind".. Like you love to hear it but I think you get uncomfortable because you're thinking of a good response so it gets a tad bit awkward for you... lol! It's so cute to see an Alpha male get all "nervous" like that when I lay on the compliments.. I just kiss his nose, or lips, or cheek to off set the discomfort..

Depends on how you deliver the compliment, if it comes off as sincere it will only motivate him more.

and keep it up - no matter what he says - you should always just say what you want to say and he will get "accustomed" to it ...

Yes, but I secretly like it.

Don't overdo it, caps see through it and you lose credibility. Sincerity is key.

Haha I'm having a wee giggle....a long delay in response on a good day or an absolute change in subject. He will go down any channel possible to avoid a compliment. Even uses another app or means of communication to avoid replying to the compliment. So so cute!!

I did it again (unintentionally) .... and he told me I was being silly again. I'm taking it as he's trying to tell me to calm down. After he messaged me that I was being silly, I told him I just like picking on you and to have a great weekend. He didn't reply....
