You know, advice often times is pointless unless you're at a point where you can accept the truth. Hearing/knowing the truth and accepting the truth are very different things. Just look at any of the relationship threads in DXP. I think this is why majority of the people can't take the right decisions until it's too late and something has happened for them to be forced to accept the truth. But that's not a bad thing, because as you said you've learned from the experience. And that's what people should focus on, the fact that every experience good or bad teaches us something.
