Someone explain my Cap trying to think things through?

Whirlwind instant chemistry. She'd chase for a while and even took a month to knit me a gift. First date heavy making out. Second date we slept together and did it til sunrise. Turns out it was her first time. Add being religious, the pill and she was a ball of mess after.

Then she started to ponder. I got the we need to talk and expected the talk. We ended up smoothing things over and to take it slow.

She then freaked out after saying she was falling to pieces when I wasn't around. Then revealed she'd cheat on or with me mentioning she was kinda in a relationship. But I recall her saying she was single and I didn't think we were in a relationship yet.

So she's been having time to think. I offered her space but she declined wanting to keep messaging for now. She said she liked me which made things hard for her to think. I revealed my feelings for her and she responded positively.

What the hecks going on!? As an aqua, I'm fighting all my urges to run, being patient and reassuring her but giving her enough space but I'm starting to become a mess.

How old are you guys?

Mid 20's. I'm more experienced I think emotionally and physically but she has lived a sheltered religious life

She sounds nuts.....
