Do yall like sitting outside watching a storm roll in? I looooove it!!!

i love storms! wrapped in a blanket with my battery radio watchng the trees sway and listening the howling of the wind 😄

I should have been a weather woman!!! Outside reporting from the middle of a storm would be my cup of tea!

Yeah, well until I see lightening. I just love watching the sky period. Its the first thing I look at when I step outside.

I remember my grandmother would sit on the porch when it would storm really bad. Id be afraid to go on the porch so id just stand by the screen door and watch the lightening and rain.

A few weeks ago there was a bad storm here that produced a tornado. Someone took the most fascinating pic of it. Ill look for it real quick.

Last year a mild tornado hit about 2 miles north of me. I was on the porch the whole time. Until I heard the whistle in the wind. Then I got scared.

LoL, I think I'd have an panic attack if I saw or heard a Tornado. They fascinate me, but I could probably only handle seeing one a million miles away lol. They have tornado sirens out here and that scares the crap out of me. Here's that pic, which I think I may have posted before?! I would have loved to see this from a VERRRRYYY far distance lol.

Oh hell!!! That would scare the HELL out of me!

I love a good thunderstorm with lots of lightning. My workshop, and my travel trailer of course, have a tin roof. Listening to the rain under a tin roof, with a cup of coffee and maybe a pipe full of good aromatic tobacco... that's one of those simple pleasures that I never want to live without. 🙂

Fuck yeah. Recall a number of them growing up... and still think they're awesome. Though storms are rarer nowadays where I live for some reason. Makes me 😢. Everything from the structure-shaking thunder, to the 'waterfall-on-the-roof' effect, to the show-interrupting weather bulletins: love it all.

Heard they have storm-chasing tours in the midwest. Would like to take one someday...

I love me a good Rain, with lots of thunder and lighting storm..The smell of rain in the air is heavenly. NO TORNADO's
though..lol

what is not to lov about a storm?

however stright line winds can be a real bitch.
they take down oke trees that are hundards of years old and make a mess

^^ Fucking hate warm days... AND bright days. Seems like everyone else begs to differ. With their love of beaches, and love of loitering en masse outdoors in their summer clothes. :/

Overcast, damp, cool, and breezy are ideal conditions (for me anyways).
