Posted by FrenchKpricornThis isn't about me having a power-mad boss or anything? Tch, I let nature have them. Plus all I have to be is more useful and pleasant to work with and I'd have their job in no time.
stop work with leo dude, and it will be fine

Posted by risesafterallSame and agreed.
I just laugh at those kind of people. I think it's immature and egotistical.
Posted by CapTennI swear it happens to me. I'm doing my thing, someone talks to me about a project, etc. Eventually a group of people want to work with me and wish I was running things cause they believe things would run so much smoother and better.
Sounds like fake dominance to me.
Some may fall for it.
The dominant cat is the one sitting back, staring at this loudmouth fool, with zero intention of carrying out any of said fool's plan.
Then watching as 80% of the group lines up behind the strong, silent cat, that goes his own way.
Dominance is leading, and having followers, without asking for/demanding them. IMO

(I.E. Working/talking with a bunch of 40+ folks.) So I'm curious WHY having everyone submit to your whims that appealing? I mean shit, even the most submissive person would get sick of your crap unless you treated them well and respected them. Usually when I see dominance thrown around in a conversation, it's most the person takes what they want, fuck consequences and other people and then walk around as if it makes them the hardest badass and super awesome human.
Seriously, I have to keep myself from just purposely cutting them down and wounding their egos just cause that attitude and mindset makes irks me. It's not so much cause it's a reflection on the ugliness of my own soul, since I've owned that a long time ago, it's more of the fact I've seen how that mindset plays out and it's usually never the best case situation for anyone involved.
Enlighten me? What's so appealing about treating people/controlling people like they're your bitch? From my view, it looks like their inner powerless child throwing tantrums repeatedly to give itself the illusion that it actually has power, when it reality most of their power came from others who gave it up to keep the peace or some other reason.
