Neither am I a Cap, but emotional cheating is when you dispense your emotional energy towards something other than your loved one.
You're flirting online and not harming anyone. You won't meet that person, but you waste your emotional 'energy' on that person. Therefore when you kiss your S/O or say "I love you", there is less of an effect and not as strong as an enthusiasm. This is what causes relationships to weaken. Same applies with pornography or going to strip clubs.
That's just my opinion though. Everyone has their own rules.

Porn can be about professional porn stars but if you think that is all there is then you are seriously missing out.
