Would he see this as weird?

One of my good friends is a very lonely quiet cap, very stoic to outsiders but not to me. ? He laughs and jokes and is very witty with me. Anyway I want to get him something for his bday like cake ,balloons, yadda yadda.... would it be too much? My moms a cap and shows no appreciation when she's given something so I just don't want to look dumb. He doesn't have a gf I wanted to get him something so that he can see someone cares

im male capricorn, and yes we are lonely and also have low self esteem. maybe female capricorn are different though.

Possibly .

Lonely and quite we all caps are in some way or the other. Low self esteem is some thing i personally do not agree with. May be low confidence in random /new group of people . But thats just my opinion

Lol i feel like my thread is turning into something else

Anyways I notice a pattern in Cap men. They are always quiet, & loners. However recently he started speaking to someone I noticed he was happy. He said how'd they'd only been on one date and how he liked her ALOT. But I noticed a change in him again. Kind of went back to being silent. THIS WHOLE WEEKEND he did nothing didn't go out again with her or anything so he's back to being himself. I also noticed that he texts me back lol sounds weird but if he was busy with this girl he wouldn't be texting me back lol.

he text you, it help him to holds his emotions not get too intense for that girl..

No, they aren't talking anymore I asked. He said it didn't work out. Now if he is seeing someone in the future I'm not buying anything that's disrespectful I wouldn't do that. I know boundaries.

I learned from the last to be honest so I texted him after posting this and outright asked. He's the type to be blunt so if I'm being annoying or rude or overstepping HELL DEF SAY IT. I just want to do this one right
