Asteroids and Fixed Stars
Are Asteroids and Fixed Stars Important in Astrology
Asteroids like Chiron, Juno, Vesta, Pallas, and Ceres are most commonly used in charts. Fixed stars are also considered for specific points. While their influence varies, many astrologers find them useful for deeper insights, but their importance depends on individual practice and beliefs in astrology.

There are so many of them, I feel they’re not important unless on an angle or conjunct a luminary like Medusa on ascendant
If that's the case, would you take into consideration
1. other aspects (square, opposition, trine, sextile) ?
2. other planets apart from luminaries?
Dismissing fixed stars would be like dismissing all the planets. Stars are where the planets get their energy from, and where the interpretations for every placement are written from.
It'd be like learning about a car and saying "we can dismiss the engine". It'd just be making your life harder to understand how it's meaningful to you.
But asteroids, I find they're just not useful.

Dismissing fixed stars would be like dismissing all the planets. Stars are where the planets get their energy from, and where the interpretations for every placement are written from.
It'd be like learning about a car and saying "we can dismiss the engine". It'd just be making your life harder to understand how it's meaningful to you.
But asteroids, I find they're just not useful.

Yes, the only thing that counts with stars are conjunction (usually within 2 degrees or less, but it can be a wider conjunction for a higher magnitude star).
Just want to be clear - I'm not saying bore yourself to death and learn stars if you don't want to, or because it's "correct" to (who cares about that?) just saying it'll save you a ton of time in the long run. You won't have to constantly look up placements eventually, it'll just make more sense.

Only if the placement and planet seemed significant in some way like Eros touching mars

Fixed Stars aren't like asteroids. They're more like the Sun and probably have their own solar system just like our Sun.
