When do you start asking serious questions?

When to Ask Serious Questions in a Relationship

You should ask serious questions after establishing trust and feeling comfortable, typically once you see genuine interest. Introduce minor issues early through open and respectful communication to build understanding without sounding accusatory. Timing and tone are key to discussing past relationships and concerns effectively.

When you are dating, at which point do y'all ask serious questions like what went wrong in their past relationships? And also when and how do you bring up minor issues early on without sounding like you are attacking them (ie. giving more advance notice for dates, being more communicative)?

The earlier the better right? That way if for any reason the other person is not happy you both are clear about happened.

Lol yeah but I never want to be a downer on early dates either lol. Especially when the vibes are good, I don't want to switch the mood. What I tend to do is slowly sprinkle the questions over multiple dates. But the bringing up issues early... I really suck at that.

IDC tho I would wanna know like where do you see this going? Do you like me? ECT but I get it most guys can't even tie their own shoelaces properly let alone handle some serious questions all at once on the first date~

Haaa facts. Honesty I admire you for just asking straight up. But on the first date, I'm not even sure I like the guy or if I want it to go anywhere. 😂 Like it's usually second date that I'm more sure.

Before I give out my number I ask..

How old are you?

When's your birthday? (Thanks dxp)

Where's your wife?

How many girlfriends do you have?

How many kids do you have?

What do you do for a living? If it's not already obvious.

First phone or text convo.. I ask him when was his last relationship..

What went wrong?

List 5 of your bad character traits..

Basically what I'm trying to say is.. ask his azz ASAP sis.

This is true. Who knoes if you like the guy yet but why go on a date if you're not ready? Maybe talk on the phone or meet up informally until you feel ready??/

Nooo. I operate differently hahah. Basically I need to go on the first date before I even get invested at all. It's too easy to lie or fake a connection over text and phone. Plus I need to feel their vibe which again is hard to do over phone. I always push to meet asap. But idk that's just me.

Loool yeah it's bc it's hard for us to let go once we're invested. So we gotta do our due diligence beforehand. 😂 We can't be going around offering our devotion and loyalty to just... anybody. 🧐

if i think the guy can handle the probing, immediately 💀

if he gives me soft boi vibes i'll wait a lil min to get the answers to my deal breakers.

i usually try not to ward men off with my excessive curiosity lmaooo, so it's always nice to find a guy who shows some interest in asking personal questions a bit early too.
