Gummy bears expiration date

This package of gummy bears has an expiration date that was in march.... how concerned should I be?

A 5lb bag of gummy bears sounded like a good idea at the time. That bag sat in my pantry for 3 years before I finally tossed them out.

I've eaten expired gummies. Takes a while after expiration for them to be inedible, which I've never really seen lol

2.5 years is about when I noticed the flavor being off. Another 6 months to finally dispose of them. 😢

Still working on these btw... Also went to Starbucks today and saw they now have "gourmet gummy bears" with weird exotic (expensive for no reason) flavors. I'm tempted

Expiration date is invented for companies to sell fast and order more to sell!

Otherwise it’ll sit on shelves and manufactury can’t afford to wait until you sell! They’ll be out of business!
