How come you guys chose the same board againIt was coincidence, but I think this particular topic seemed to have us all gravitate towards it
hmmm I really would like to see more variety in the venue next time, depending on the task. I think choosing the same board again makes it easier for us to judge but it could be seen as a negative as well in terms of creativity and individuality
Choosing the same board was/is definitely a downer as seems the consensus.
i understand that its a draw back, we had 3 to pick from randomly. we had no idea what the other team would choose. our team got together to discuss what we wanted to do and we all unanamuously said dreams. for me perosnally it was because of the team name, yes being a tad silly but mainly from a marketing stand point that was key for me. We are the Dream Team and we are a team working togheter to help promote the forum , & give gaundance to others about their dreams. i loved that we could tie our name into our marketing stuff, like the promo banners made and able to use it in hashtags to announce the facelift of the forum Dreams. I do some dream interperting and once we started talking about what forum we all relaized each of us brought different ideas, thoughts and outlooks on how dreams can be expanded upon and felt we could utliize our skills.
At what time did you guys get together and unanimously choose the dreams board?

yes, we even had that discussion on if we should wait to post ours tbh. Because we didn't know what they decided on. But again due to some of us not being able to be around that much today we decided to post it last night so we could actually implement our key compenet of the concept.. actually doing dream interpetations and have people do the quiz.

The thread came up late last night, long after we had our discussion of ideas and who should which parts ... long after we decided on the board. I came back online after I went out with some friends (left at around 10 pm EST) and came back like 3 am EST. That was when I saw the thread first popped up. No one else was online in the chat room we had used, at that time.

Not to beat starwars into a dead horse, but everything was graded both individually and overall and the quiz did not grade very high at least for me

pfft people actually took it, posted their results on the thread and that made them stay longer & read the other stuff we've posted as well
Not really. It made misted stay in the thread. And it was pointed out (not by the judges) that the quiz didnt make any sense. Trust me when i say this, your promo idea helped you a lot.
Fudge GM. Soul for example took it and that gave us opportunity to engage him in the other stuff in the thread, same with PV who said it made no sense but once we explained it she start asking questions about her type and stuff.
it sure won't make sense if you don't know about the types and how to distinguish between them.
As someone who spent several years on the dream board interpreting dreams for folks. And someone who knows theor stuff.. Quiz made no sense to me. The result was not descriptive of me at all.
I liked the idea of the quiz.. But it was poorly executed.
I did get a lot o questions from jag and cvurko. But you waited until there was less than an hour left to respond to me. Tells me you didn't really know what you were talking about in regards to dreams.. And it showed in your making of the quiz.

True. They sold their thread as a team who are able to interpret dreams which they did. I can't interpret dreams so would be useless at it. Which is why i went for more of sharing adding and participating from everyone on the board.

I know it's not personal but I always feel like Other people might take something personally
but seriously if anything--I was busy yesterday so came on the chat about an hour later than I was supposed to.
didn't really fully understand what my task was
went to work.
tried to check my phone periodically but couldn't actually work on anything until I got home.
and had an hour to complete my tasks.

This is a message for you, your team, and also the dream team. YOU GUYS CANNOT BE AFRAID TO CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICIZE AND PUT EACHOTHER ON THE BLOCK. It promotes a sense of urgency and a better understanding of where everyone stands up to date. So, i'll ask again. Besides who queen who was the weakest link? You are saying it's you. Then that means you haven't much reason to stay.
I am not able to tell you who the weakest member of this team was because I wasnt able to be around for the brainstorming.
so i didnt know what everyone was doing until today really.
so my lacking ability of communication and availability was not helpful.
But I want to stay because i'll have more time for the next task and i'm creative and I want to lead the next task.
Queen Wants to leave. she'll be very busy at work soon and she lives in a different time zone
virgogent, sakura and I all live in the same timezone
it'll be easier for us to be on the same page/communicate.

will say i did offer to help as much as i could while we put this all together since i knew i would be gone most of the day today. i will fully admit that i feel as if i did the least on the project ( to my teams objects, as they felt i contributed as much as they all did as well) i feel i made the most contributions in the thread itself, like i said i stayed up unitl almsot 4 am knowing i was getting up at 8 to leave the house. to actually exect what our thread was about. I marketed our thread on main page, Aqua lounge, DXPL game lounge, the whos bored on a friday night thread..
