Are Gems good match with Cancers?

So maybe Cancers and Gems have a lot more in common then would seem...we are both moody, need space, sensitive, loving, etc...but also we are neighbors on the zodiac so have a lot of similar placements. Anyone experience the Gem/Cancer relationship? What were the best and worst parts? Are you still together? Also if anyone wanna give snarky remarks you can gfy Ž

From what I've seen, these two sun signs shouldn't be anything more than friends. Sure, their other placements could help, but I'd say as a rule they don't work romantically.

Imo nooooooooo. I can only handle cancers in small doses, but I do have many cancer friends. Could never be with one romantically. One of my best friends is cancer sun moon and Mercury with Leo Mars and Venus LORD. He is either crying or yelling- those are his two moods.

OMG, your poor friend! I can see why, with all his water and fire placements...no choice but to get fired up or watered down :/

Gem and Cancer are a friends only relationship from my experience with my female Gem friends no I haven't gotten rejected, air and water don't mix like they say it causes bubbles. My dad is a gem he drives me nuts Gems just don't understand Cancers.

They are both outcasts, so yes, lock them into a room together.

Never really had a match with any Gemini. Looking back all the years it just never even had a spark. Im sure I had friends who were Gemini, but thats as far as it went.

The thing about this match is the cancer is going to be more vulnerable in the relationship. Of course it depends on the chart though how "risky" this will be when it comes to potential hurt feelings.

I am cancer sun ......cappie moon and leo in venus mars in gem. When it comes to relationships increase that hurt feelings and moreover hurt pride five times over.
I know with my Leo venus..or the way I see love etc. Most gems wouldn't work.

Leo in Venus is VERY traditional romantic. Especially in females. We love to be courted and demand to feel special...that along with cancer sensitivity can be a lot to take.

It really has to be the right gem and the right cancer.

I like gem as friends idk about dating to say 100 if it work or not. I dated gem recently im a cancer and tbey actually were the sensitive one. They said i was too laid back and didnt vare about their feeligs they were always telling me to leave them alone then id say ok....simple and they call back...too much back and forth to me...we got along so good and so not at the same time...too cofnusing.. .i cant speak for other cancers due to placements but i have alot of earth so im calm chill kaid back not sensitive crying i sont cry but im sensitive emotionally spiritually i pick up on energy. My gem libra and aqua all said same thing about me....deep down i feel air signs are the ones who r very sensitive and need alot of love affection which some water signs give which is why could b good match...thats why they liked me for that my nurturing caring side air needs reassurance and security dont believe the books what they say. My opinion

Those are supposed to be excellent matches for us. I think we're attracted to Aquas and Gems because they do have great personalities, but they're typically not great for long-term committed relationships (at least not for us).

I love Cancer men and they seem to gravitate toward me as well, BUT after a few months the quirky differences become deal breakers.

I dated on long term and probably 4-5 short term. They are exactly the type of men I like and am attracted to, but the differences in outlook toward the world seemed to be insurmountable.

I will add that the two best sexual partners I've had have both been Cancer.

I think there's huge differences between the two signs, which can make things very difficult, even during the "honeymoon phase", never mind beyond that... especially if the pairing is cancer girl with gemini man.. the other way (gemini female and cancer male) MIGHT have a better chance of working, as naturally females are a bit more sensitive and males a bit more aloof (not huge gender differences though), which might bring the two together more in similar natures... but of course, if the two's moon signs are a good match, it is definitely possible.

I know a guy with a gemini sun and cancer moon and even seeing his internal conflict between constantly wanting his freedom, fun and to be a player (gemini traits) along with taking a long time to recover from break-ups, trust issues, getting deeply hurt, insecurity (cancer traits), shows how different the two signs are..I mean, he was never happy either way.. would get bored in long term relationships and leave (gemini trait) yet get sentimental and remember the good times with ex, feel regret for leaving etc.

on another note my friends parents are gemini and cancer, they both had an affair while both married, they both divorced then married eachother. I also know another gem and cancer couple. It can most deff happen.

Interesting, out of all my fire/air placements it is the Leo...I guess since they are playful?

Hmm yeah I think ultimately the Cancer/Gemini relationship is either awesome, awful or awesomely awful 😄 It may not be the most stable relationship, but for a Gem who likes to be kept on their toes...nutt'n like a Cancer lady to take him on the roller coaster of his life hahaha.

I do have to hand it to moonbutter that she's some kind of special cancer. She's taken a lot of shit over the boards since I have been here and she doesn't blow it up into something else entirely, take offense to things that weren't meant to be offensive in the first place, and lash out at those like typical cancer response (see above) and chooses to be playful instead, so I can see why she can get along with gems.

I'm a Gemini and I attract a lot of a cancer men..in fact I'm crushing on one hard right now. I am Leo moon and Venus in aires....he's cancer sun , Taurus Moon and venus iin Cancer. We have an attraction for each other.

I'm currently dating a Cancer guy and I haven't bothered to look up his other placements (moon, venus, etc.) but he is definitely Cancer all over, very moody! Right now he's upset with me because of something about our sex life (he won't tell me what about it, imagine that LOL). My moon is in Pisces and my venus is in Gemini so those are big contradictionsl. He's completely illogical when we're arguing and tends to be a bit manipulative emotionally, trying to make me feel bad when he's at fault etc. He seems like he always has to be right. Arguing with him drives me insane but I love him with all my heart. Something about him just makes me feel safe and all warm and tingly (ew) even when he gives me the silent treatment and makes me want to punch him square in the mouth 😛 When we're not fighting he treats me like a lady, taking me out places when he can, lots of sweet words. I think that if at least one of you is tolerant and willing to change yourself a bit (this will probably end up being the Gemini haha) then I think it can work. I know not many people want to change themselves to make it work with another person but if he/she is really the one then you might change your mind !

Yeah, I too noticed that Gem girls can fall in love with a Cancer man, even though that is not recommended pairing, but I guess that it's the other placements which counts and makes difference here. This Gem girl I was writing about is in a two year relationship with a Cancer guy, and she loves him, I mean, she was writing his name in the shape of the heart, on her paper. At first she taught that I was too Cancer guy, because of her bf, I mean, because she saw me as warm and emotional.

She flirts all time with me, and is practically always near me, but I see that she loves him. I mean, it's OK, we're just friends, but I just find it strange because pairing with a Sag is a much stronger in many ways between those signs. They have many differences, he's a typical family man, like many crabs, but she's not, in that way, she's more similar to Sag type of loving, so I find it strange that despite all those differences, she's in love with him.
