When a Cancerian disappears, it often indicates they need space or are retreating emotionally. Their absence can impact relationships but does not necessarily end them. Understanding Cancerian tendencies to withdraw can help manage expectations and communication.
No it doesn't end it if they want you and feel you leaving they will come back... Don't wait on it though. Live your life and don't contact them first

I wonder if any of you have tried to disappear when the cancerian disappears, does that pretty much end it?
I did. But when he came back. He said I abandoned him every week - so many times I did. I was like wtf!!!.
As a Cancer, I mean if someone goes poof when I do, then it's fine, I often need space to myself and will let someone know so they don't think I just vanished into thin air. Although as poster above said, if you say "well I just need time because you need time, and if you want to be distant so will I," I will think you're funny. We are moody, yes, but we need someone who is constant and doesn't just do whatever we do, it won't make us look up to you.

Remember when the police chased after Sylvester Stallone in "First Blood," when all he wanted was to be left alone?
....And how well did that work out for the police?

LOLLLL. hahaha.
I agree though, I suggest you give them space but don't be like "hey I want you to realize I am being distant too!" I am sure if you just became distant cause they were, they can understand how their distance is causing you to be. Just don't tell them until they say "hey you been kind of distant," and they will for sure.
for sure understand and attempt to work it out I mean*
Nah.when i leave , i do it cause i need space. So reacting that way will make you more attractive . Itll kinda make you look like you understand our nature and well kinda appreciate it. Lmao - we might complain when we come back , but really well just want a reason to "make up" so we can be all over you again. Lmao
I treat people as they treat me. A Cancer guy stopped calling/texting me as often and I stopped calling him. Some behaviors are unacceptable, regardless of sign. He texts me every few days. I finally stopped reaching out, unless he initiates. The games and hot and cold behavior gets old. I'm a Cancer to, but I am consistent when I'm into someone. He was draining me and I had to tske control over my emotions.

If you do it with intent, you won't be with a cancer for long. It's their nature to time out for life and work.
Spite doesn't work.
Yep
I disappeared on this one Cancer alot normally so i wouldn't pull my hair out. sheesh.
If he disappeared first, i never panicked because it would always be only a matter of time before he'd be back. I used those down spells to re-group and get ready for the next round of emotional madness.
^amen to that.
The cancer I am interested in keeps ghosting on me. I have thought a few times that he's not interested any longer, but he pops up when I least expect it. Instead of answering my texts with normal text or something, he posts FB private jokes and posts Snapchat stories that answer me instead.
Not sure why he is being so sideways with everything. It's okay to tell me he's not ready because we've had that conversation before.
I usually chase first, get no response then get mad and sulk. Then I disappear and move on,then he's back. Aaand repeat.
Ha I forgot to mention my point. I don't disappear. He does... a lot.
