What is the most you've spent on a first date?

I've never paid for anything on a first date LOL. I'm old school.

What is your favorite sexual position?

um.. Is "all of them" an answer?

What is the largest number of suitors or romantic prospects you've had at any one time?

at once? Like... 4 LOL. In my defense it was completely implied that none of these little flings were trying to date me. We were all simply having some fun.

Have you ever cheated on someone?

When I was 17 I was seeing this guy and I kissed our mutual friend. I felt so guilty after that I never did anything like that again lol. These days I'm loyal to a fault.

What was your favorite subject in school?

I loved it when I studied some poetry. really anything that involved the written word. Language arts I had all straight A's. When it came down to English I wasn't fond of the many rules LMFAO!

Why do leos give us all the attention and then ignore us the next day?
There could be many reasons. Generally it may be because Leos are busy people. We also give attention when it's given to us. It just depends on the scenario. Additionally we Leos aren't great texters. If you want a Leo to respond, either call us or meet us in person.

If the Leo is actually actively ignoring you (not responding back whatsoever) that will point to a deeper issue. It's possible that Leo isn't into you or has made you a low priority.

Do you find Pisces, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius to be the most appealing signs?
Pretty sure every Leo will have differing opinions on this.

I personally have never had a Pisces guy friend (as far as I know). Likewise the women are usually friends of friends and I'm hesitant to get close to them after being betrayed by a Pisces woman. Tauruses (guys and girls) make GREAT friends, though I'll probably never actually date a Taurus woman. I'm ok with Scorpio guys, since some of them are chill. I've always been cool with Scorpio women, but unsure if I'd date another. I apparently attract Scorpio energy easily. Aquariuses are cool, they make good friends and I'd date an Aquarius woman.

Would cancer femme and leo male work out in your opinion? ?

Leo and Cancer can get along just fine, it just takes a bit of understanding. As a Leo with a Cancer Mercury, I find it easy to interact with Cancers. I also know which buttons to press and which ones not to press, but not all Leos understand this dynamic.

So the real issue here is understanding. Your series of topics have shown that Cancer and Leos can baffle one another (from my experience, Leo usually baffles Cancer). Both signs basically want the emotional security of their partner. However Leos tend to be more extroverted energy and Cancer tends to be more introverted.

Cancer's mood swings may rub Leo the wrong way, while Leo may seem too brash to Cancer. Leo may seem to "energetic", which may make the Cancer paranoid. Cancer's may sidestep and second guess a Leo's motives, which will confuse and turn off the Leo. Likewise a Cancer may be TOO forthcoming with heavy emotions which could smother the Leo's positive nature. Also Cancer may be so preoccupied with fear of rejection, that she becomes too passive and misses the obvious signs of Leo's affection.

Knowing this it's best if both signs have open and honest communication with one another. Leo must respect Cancer's need to emote/recharge and Cancer must respect Leo's need for spontaneity/creativity. In this way both signs can create a harmonious home life.

Hi Chuckcem,

Can you explain or describe the relationship dynamic between a parent/child when both are leos? Strengths and weaknesses.

My mother is a leo, August the 8th. I am also a leo, born August the 11th.

Thanks! ?
I'm also August 8th.

From my personal experience having a Leo parent is excellent for a Leo. Having a Leo father means I have a parent who automatically understands my mindset. He understands my pride and need for creativity. I'm of the belief that Leos tend to work well with other Leos, so there is a basic unspoken understanding between my father and I that helps our personalities mesh.

Other placements are important here as well. Likewise I've noticed that Leo males tend to be more laid back than Leo females. That being said my aunt and her daughter (my cousin) are both Leos and while they've clashed in the past, they understand each other very well and have a strong relationship.

What's been your experience?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Happy belated!

I agree that Leo males are more laid back than their female counterparts.

My experience is very much like your aunt's and cousin's. My mother and i clash every single day but we have a strong relationship... because its always her way or my way kind of thing. She likes to control but i like to be independent. We both have strong personalities and tend to take on a lot of things/responsibilities in family, personal rationships, and life. Because of this we have really high expectations of each other and always strive for the best. She doesn't push my Taurus brother like how she pushes me. This may also be because im the eldest.

That and probably because the Leo/Taurus dynamic is a relatively calm one, not to mention mother's tend to treat their sons differently than their daughters at times. The expectations for you are definitely higher.

Hi Chuckcem,

Just went a trip with Leo ( he rejected me before, and he keep texting me lately ) and it was great. Wonderful night, feel like we have the connection tho. Had some small talk about his thinking, my future and so on. And he just act like a little boy in front of me, being silly you know.

When we back from the trip, he sent me a text saying he has to go out for his friend s bday then we chit chat for awhile. Whole conversation is good, seems like he is happy. Then the next day we didn't text but he texted me day after, told me what he is doing tomorrow and what he did last night.

But just these few days, I felt like he is a little bit off as in his texts ain't that passion anymore. Hmm what should I do to get his attention? What is the Leo man likes ?

Thank you so much šŸ™‚

When it comes to Leos, we aren't big texters. For us it's an inefficient form of communication. We typically only use it to send simple messages and invitations since we are typically fairly busy. We also prefer phone calls or face to face interactions since text messages are generally too impersonal or lazy for us.

We'll text people we like and may keep it up for a while. However we may eventually stop once we become more comfortable with the other person. We may also resort to other more personal forms of communication instead. So don't worry about his texts becoming less passionate. Texting to us just isn't that big of a deal.

Leos also like to know that the person we're interested in, is also very interested in us. That doesn't mean you need to become clingy. Just call him and invite him out. If you don't hear from him, wait for him to respond before you open communication again.

If a leo woman is showing all the signs that shes into you while dating but still feels unsure in a way what does that mean?

Also, how would i asure her everything i good and no worries.
It means you're either too clingy or too detached. Leos are independent people, but we do like our partners to be fully engaged because we will also be fully engaged. My question is, does she seem distant or is she asking you for more?

If she's acting distant, then you're probably being too clingy. Are you the one asking her "what is wrong" more often than not? If that's the case, cool your jets a little. If she however is constantly poking at you, then that means she's looking for more affection from you. You may be a little too detached, so she isn't sure if you're worth the risk.

Then yeah, you're probably coming across a bit too detached. While women are naturally attracted to men who are a bit more aloof/mysterious (generally speaking), they don't want a man who is cold. If she's saying that you're too nonchalant, show that you care about her a little more. Do not go overboard with this or it will have the opposite affect and repulse her.

To be honest, if you're being consistent and already showing affection, you don't need to change much. The next time she says that you're too nonchalant, ask her what she means. At that point she'll let you know if there's anything that she needs from you.

You're right though, you don't want to start going overboard by overly expressing your feelings. Too many guys will often fall into this trap and destroy what mystery they had, thereby destroying a woman's interest. However there's nothing wrong with telling a woman how you feel from time to time. Basically just make sure you're not being too cold.

Ive been knowing this guy for almost 7 months already. He was going out of his way by approaching and asking for my number. He is not a good texter and very plain guy but i really do like him. It doesnt matter for me as long as he treats me nicely.

But he is really confusing me. I cannot be certain about his feelings towards me. There are times i feel like he is so into me and sometimes, i look rather stupid when showing too much care and attention. Yet, he is just emotionless.

Our off day is on different days so we are only able to meet when we want to go home after working hour. Since we off from our workplace at different time, he will text me so we can meet at the same place. He is willing to wait for me too even if i will be late for 30 mins. I thank him for what he did and he just nodded lol.

During my off day, he keeps me updating me about his whereabouts and i will reply every single text without hesitating at all. I will ask about his works and many more. On the other way around, during his day off, i try to do the same thing too, inform him just like he does, but i dont get any replies at all. Even if he did, he just answered to my questions and replied in very short sentence and he ignored my text too.

I feel like he just wanted to meet me when he is feeling bored only. I know leos are really appreciated their personal space and ive given him so much spaces, i dont even ask him to call or text me like 24/7, but at least i just wanted him to show his little attention on me. Thats all. What do you think? Im in between. I need your help. Im a scorpio. Sorry about my grammar
I responded you your original topic: https://www.dxpnet.com/opinion/leo/this-leo-guy-is-so-confusing-9257767/#9259827

My advice is to ask him out if you're interested in him.

Okay sooo basically I’ve hit a wall an I’m lost an confused. So I’ll try to be as thorough as I can.. I’ve done some research on the lioness an I’m even more confused. Im a Gemini woman (a confused one at that) I’ve never been with a woman, nvr thought of even remotely being with one, but instantly was attracted to this certain Leo, we work together we dnt speak much, ok like NEVER but there’s this certain look she gives me an it’s like ā€œwowā€ she has these piercing eyes and I feel so weird about it. We work in different depts, but every so often she will come to my floor an I swear she looks for me, her eyes tend to do this sweep around my section of the office to see me or look where my desk is an I catch her looking at me, man man man I want this girl an I’m afraid of it... so I recently started reaching out to her via email, mainly instant messenger, but I notice I’m always the first one that has to engage or make the first move but when I do she’s very involved in our banter, she recently added me on SC and she’s always one of the first to see my story. I just need some insight to this am I buggin out? Mind u she will see me in the office an nvr say anything to me not one word, so I dnt go out of my way to speak directly to her either, But on messenger she’s like this completely diff person, I made a comment about her never posting any stories on her snap, she laughed it off an said she’s a ā€œnetwork creeperā€ lol (oh she added me 2 Fridays ago, today is Wednesday) when I saw her posting last sat, a commented on her snap about posting she said it was for me ā€œlolā€was that friendly or flirty man I’m so confused, I’ve never done the persuing so as u can see I’m confused asf. I need help ppl how do I interpret all this.

ā€œDirect approachā€ sounds scary lol

She came over this morning to my section of the office spoke to a colleague next to me, and left, about 20mins later she sent me a msg on snap saying that I was pretty quite in the workplace but she bets I’m pretty crazy outside of work. I’m a bit confused now even more cause I was just told by another colleague that’s shes Jehovah witness and she’s pretty much devoted to her religion so I’m not sure the direct approach or if she was even interested in the first place. I could have been misreading everything lol

The direct approach can be scary, but it is the most efficient approach. Does her religion worry you? If not, it shouldn't have any bearing on you asking her to hang out outside of the office.

What does a Lion find intriguing about a Capricorn? I see this couple a lot as far as Fite/Earth couples go.
The relentless pursuit of one's goals is a common trait shared between the two. Both signs seek power and prestige for their own reasons and can help each other attain success. While I probably would never date another Capricorn, I can understand this dynamic since I've ONLY met Cap women in the workplace.

As are many religions, but that doesn't necessarily stop people. It's up to you though. I understand not wanting to put yourself in a precarious situation, especially in the workplace.

Is it true that Fire/Fire only last for short term?
That's not necessarily the case. Yes fire signs can burn through relationships rather quickly, but fire signs also understand each other's need for energy, enthusiasm, etc. This means fire signs can often refuel each other rather quickly.

In my experience the fastest relationships are Fire/Air. Fire energy feeds on air energy, which will exhaust the air sign person. That being said, Fire/Air can also be long lasting if both parties' understand one another. My parents are a Fire/Air combo.

In my experience the fastest relationships are Fire/Air. Fire energy feeds on air energy, which will exhaust the air sign person. That being said, Fire/Air can also be long lasting if both parties' understand one another. My parents are a Fire/Air combo.

I always looked at it like a burning fire. Too much of 1 being fire or air the flames die out.

Just of curiosity but are leos with compatible with Pisces/Virgos?
I've heard that Leo and Pisces can work well, but I've personally never seen it. Pisces is also the sign that I have the least interaction with, so there's no real way for me to confirm or deny this. Due to past experiences, I tend to keep Pisces women at arm's length, but as family member or friends they are great.

Virgos and Leos make great friends in my opinion (though I'm a Virgo Moon, so I maybe biased). Ultimately a relationship between a Leo and a Virgo could be a fruitful union, but the trick is getting it off of the ground. This can be tricky because Virgos and Leos have very different ways of going about things. It's not impossible, there are some hurdles to jump.

My own experiences with Pisces have been few. Two female friends and a relative. The one female friend I've known for a long, long time. Back when we were both much younger, we used to sit on phone and talk about absolutely nothing for hours. We lost touch for a while, just got reacquainted here in the last couple years, and she still wants to talk on the phone for hours about nothing. I can't do that anymore. As I get older, I socialize less. Also, these days I don't even want to be on the phone if we're not talking about anything in particular. So, she and I aren't as close as we once were.

Same can be said for the relative. She just wants to get on the phone and talk about absolutely nothing. That was fine 10-15 years ago. If I'm going to waste time these days, I have better things I'd like to do than gossip.

The other Pisces friend, we kinda sorta tried dating years ago. We talked often. Quite a bit, actually. Then, we went our separate ways and that was pretty much that.

So my experience with Pisces is that they love, love, LOVE to communicate with others. Doesn't even really matter who, just as long as they're able to communicate. In a relationship with a Leo, that might wear really thin on the lion's end. Believe it or not, Leos actually like a lot of alone time. Time to brood peacefully, and if that alone time is disturbed by gossipy phone calls, somebody will get an earful, and not the one they expected. Or, they might end up just talking to the voicemail.

I'm a Pisces man and like my alone time as well. It recharges me. So I'm going to take a guess and say that you haven't interacted with a virgo, correct?

I've had a handful of interactions with Virgos, but definitely more with Pisces. The Virgos I've met have been pretty cool, but they also seem to be a little more "on edge" mentally. Like life just kinda has a way of beating them down, and the ones I've encountered seem like they're one more bad life event away from seriously snapping. Also, Virgos can just seem to disappear out of nowhere. No warning, nothing. They're just gone into whatever retreat they've chosen.

But as far as overall interactions, like I said, the ones I've met have been pretty cool. Just a little on the unpredictable side.

I've read that Fish/Lion can work because of the generous nature of the lion flows smoothly with Pisces laidback nature. Also both are creative and passionate signs. The ultimate way for the the two to remain as a couple is compromise. As far as the Lion/Virgin goes,I noticed it looks good in the beginning but starts to make a left turn sooner rather than quickly. Have you ever dated a virgo sun leo moon?

Nope, never dated a Virgo. Possibly came close, but again there are certain hurdles that didn't quite click with me. I have several Virgo friends and the only Virgo Sun/Leo Moon that I know is a guy.

Dear shiny Leo's,

Did you ever had romantic experiences with other fixed signs? And how did it go? (which one is your favourite?)

How do you overcome communication issues if there are any?

Would you string someone along, saying you love them while keeping them at a distance?

If you have a dominant sign other than your sun sign, how do you feel it manifest in your character?

thank you šŸ™‚

-Yes, my first and second girlfriends were a Leo and a Scorpio. The last woman I dated was an Aquarius. I've been close to Taurus women, but have never been romantic with them. The Leo relationships was passionate, but there was quarreling due to our immaturity. The Scorpio relationship was very sexual and intense, but also filled with immature arguments. The Aquarius situation started very well with zero disagreements and ended horribly.

-Emotional maturity and being open to understanding the other person is a good way to overcome communication issues. Being able to clearly communicate one's own needs while listening to the needs of the other person is very important. I personally try to listen before I speak, keeping my unsolicited criticisms to myself.

-No, I don't use the word "love" lightly. When I say it, I mean it and I act accordingly.

-It comes out in my overall personality based on where that sign is in my chart. My dominant energies are fairly evenly placed, but Pisces is my most dominant energy and is also my Jupiter placement. I can be very go with the flow and open to a multitude of different ideas and perspectives as a result. I can seem very "lucky" as a result.

Yea becausr even though leos are supposed to br straight forward and open, i internalize alot of thing and never really say things...straightforwardly. I think my virgo aspects made me this way

guilty of stringing along someone, but because i knew it wouldnt last. i have problems rejecting people

how did you knew it wouldn't last?

And how would you reject people? Did you fade on them?

I'm pretty sure this question is on here but how can you tell if a Leo is into you? If this is on here lmk which page lol

Specifically a Leo you met online
That's a common question. Leos are physical creatures. While we may be very enthusiastic, you won't really know if we're into you until we've met you (in fact WE may not be entirely sure until we've met you). We don't fully trust texting and online platforms for communication and romace, but we'll use them as a means to connect to those who do. So the trick is to get a Leo in front of you if you're interested.

Once you've actually met, then the goal is consistency. Again we Leos are physical creatures. If a Leo is into you, well try to see you as much as possible. We may not be the best texters, but that doesn't matter since we use texts to send invites and short bursts of information. So if a Leo is sending you invitations and trying to see you, then he/she is into you.

Leos are fairly simple in that regard. A Leo who is unsure about you may try to invite you out in a group setting, while a Leo who is more confident will just ask you out. Either way the Leo will try to be present.

Definitely. It also depends on the Leo's Venus and Mars. For example my Venus is in Libra and my Mars is in Capricorn. This means my dating/love style focuses on balance, harmony and romance. I'm however a bit detached and methodical in my approach, until I'm in the bedroom. Then my sexual desire goes through the roof, which makes it seem almost like I'm a completely different person.

I mentioned in a past topic that sex and love are very much linked in a Leo's mind. So much so that we can confuse infatuation with love at times. I wouldn't say that a Leo has to have sex with you in order to love you, but the sexual desire definitely needs to be there. So Leos may seem to be very sexual as result.

However don't get it confused and think that a Leo who wants you sexually loves you either. It could just be sexual desire and nothing more. In which case, you'll need to look for other clues like the ones I mentioned in my last response.

Out of the four elements which sign from each do yourself to be most compatible with?
That's a tricky question because I get a long with a lot of the signs.

Fire - I would say I get along with both Leo and Sagittarius very well. I've dated both a Leo and a Sag as well. That's not to say that I don't get along with Aries either. All three fire signs are present in my family and friends.

Earth - I would say I get along with Virgo the most, though I get along with Tauruses pretty well too. While I've had a few Cap friends (one of whom is one of my best friends), I don't know as many of them.

Air - This is super tough because I like the air signs equally for different reasons. When I was younger my crushes were mostly Gemini. I like them fine now, though they've lost their mystery for me. I've grown closer to Libras and Aquariuses as I've grown older and they are more consistently in my life now. Each air signs holds a particular place in my mind.

Water - As far as friendships go, Cancers come first. I've had more romantic encounters with Scorpios though, but those relationships never truly last. Pisces is the sign I have the least contact with aside from a couple of family members.

Leo woman and insecurities. Why do they seem to be so and how can you relax or ease them?
I'm not sure if these are stereotypical Leo women tendencies, but they're mine. I'm a Watery Leo, for your reference.

Leos are often generalized to be proud and confident people who revel in their own ways of dazzling. I'm rarely proud of who I am or what I do. I never think that I'm good enough for anything or anyone. I think this is something that some of my Leo girlfriends feel as well. We're insecure about ourselves because we're very concerned about our image that we put off to people. We don't like to be seen as weak. It's hard for us to be vulnerable to others because we're afraid of getting hurt in the end, which will damage our sense of self that we want others to see. Leos only love the best of everything, so we try to be that - the best of the best. But it's not common for us to feel good about ourselves. We're competing with ourselves and everyone else around us to stand out and prove our worth. It's basically just us trying to become the idealized image of ourselves that we see, knowing that we aren't actually as good as that.

How to ease our insecurities takes a lot of gentle TLC. We don't let people in easily. If we trust you enough to open up to you about the things we're most afraid of, we expect that you'll be someone we can trust with everything that's in our minds. You have to be verbally supportive and physically supportive as well, not necessarily romantically. Even physically being in our presence willing to hear us out is meaningful. It takes a lot of patience and strength in yourself to make us feel appreciated, which helps us feel good about ourselves.

Just talking to a leo female and can sense some. My ex is also a leo and she had some.

She finds me very easy to talk to and we talk through the day for hours. She is gaurded so she wont be hurt. Gradually letting me in. At times gives me puppy eyes but still has a wall up. Being grilled with questions at the moment guess to gauge me about future if things will progress. Were both ready to take next step in ours lives, both 29.

You'll have to be more specific, but if you're referencing your own particular situation, I would say that the Leo woman may need more attention from your end. You can still maintain your mystery/intrigue while still letting the Leo woman know that your interest in her is solid. If you're too detached, she'll start to think that you're insincere.

If you're consistently setting up dates with the Leo woman, then you won't have to do much. Sending her a surprise message randomly can help break up the monotony in your communication (or lack thereof). Just be sure not to overdue it. Likewise if she seems insecure, just ask her how she's feeling. Dont ask her, "Is there something wrong?" but rather you can just ask, "How are you doing?" which will give her the incentive to communicate her feelings.

If I had to guess, I'd say that she just needs more attention from you. Leos want to know that we have our lover's heart. Until we know that for certain, we won't be 100% comfortable.

@Chuckcem @LoudLeo Which combo works best? Leo man/Pisces woman or Pisces man/Leo woman?
Personal opinion, and I'd assume you're talking romantically, I'd say Leo woman/Pisces male. There are some nuances with the Fish that I think the Lioness would be better equipped than the Lion.

What would nuances be?

Nuances = subtle differences, so when I say that a Leo female would be better equipped to deal with the nuances of a Pisces male than a Leo male would be able to deal with nuances of a Pisces female, I'm talking about the ever so slight differences in personalities between a Pisces and anyone else.
