Do Leo placements really like compliments as much as they say they do?

Are compliments needed as much as traditional astrology suggests?

Or is it more they just like to feel appreciated, and it doesn't necessarily have to be with verbal compliments?

I like both but compliments make me uncomfortable too 🤷. Main thing is being sincere. I can tell when someone isn't and just blowing smoke up my ass.

I will say for me...actions definitely speak louder than words.

Yeah, it just seems like the typical Leo placement descriptions are constantly saying "Just flatter a Leo and they'll be content".

I just haven't ever really got that sense from them though. The Leo/Taurus moon I know does not seem comfortable with compliments.

The Leo/Leo Moon I will say really lights up when people compliment his artwork, but he is actually VERY down-to-earth. Unless he is hiding this massive ego from me. Cause he's got Leo in his chart like woah. I keep waiting to see it. He just seems very humble....confident, but very humble.

The ego comes out later and it will take a GREAT deal of patience. It's a matter of handling it with grace moving forward instead of temper that gets you nowhere.

Compliments are nice, sure. But as long as you're loving yourself and being genuinely present with the time you spend together... do little things to let him know you're thinking about him when apart... affection and touch, praise for the good things like "Hey, when you ____ ... that seriously made my day because ____. So happy." It keeps them in pretty good spirits. I mean, that goes for anyone but in my experiences, someone with a lot of leo eats that up and inspires them to be the best for both.

I've been looking for it. Sometimes I think I see it peeking out, but then it doesnt...haha. I keep thinking "He has to have a massive ego somewhere. If not, then all astrology must be BS!" hahaha

I have Venus in Leo and I absolutely hate compliments. I know exactly what I'm working with so I hate when I get complimented on something I don't think is true. I just seriously don't like them. However, I do need to feel appreciated for the things I do for people. I don't expect payback or anything over-the-top except a quick "thanks". I get resentful when I feel taken for granted or used.

I get very uncomfortable when people call me Smart!

I don't feel like I have earned it.

I don't have a million dollars or multiple homes, so how can I be smart

We appreciate attention/flattery from people whose opinions actually matter to us. Immature Leos may like unfiltered attention, which is where the stereotype comes from in the first place. However most Leos can be thrown off by unnecessary/arbitrary flattery. Also a wise Leo will know that random flattery may be coming from a manipulative place.

Depends who it comes from.

Some people's compliments downright annoy me cuz it's coming from them.

I've realized that with age, I don't soak up compliments like I used to. It's like it doesn't even matter much anymore.

There are def signs more dependant on compliments, attention & "appreciation".. like Caps lol

I hate being complimented on my looks. I feel that people who constantly compliment on looks are shallow and blind to a persons depth and character. I don't usually say anything but I secretly find it insulting. I avoid putting photos of myself on social media for that reason.

I like compliments on my work, things I've made or on my achievements if it's something I'm proud of. If it's something I think isn't that good, I get really uncomfortable with compliments.
