Does he even care (Leo)

Hey guys I need your Help!!!!! I'm an Aquarius and I have been hooking up with a Leo consistanly for about 2 1/2 years now. We have amazing sex but we have gone thru a lot. I'm pretty laid back about the whole relationship thing but I would like to know if he cares about me. I can't really base it on the sex even though it's consistent. We never go anywhere or do anything but he lets me have my way in some areas. Like he will check my oil or fix something for me that type of thing when I want to have sex it's no problem.I asked him if he cared about me and I told him it was a yes or no answer and he wouldn't answer it. Just recently I told him that I was gonna start hooking up with someone who treated me nicely lol his response was try it and see lol but he text me all day wanting to know what I was doing and we had the best sex that night. Like WTF is he doing guys?

He's treating you like an option. We Leos tend to keep our options open when we aren't exclusive with someone. That doesn't mean he's sleeping with anyone else, but he's probably dating around. He's been hooking up with you for so long that he isn't looking to form an emotional bond beyond what you have currently.

Remember for a Leo to get truly serious, we must trust you. Since Aquas can have a more relaxed approach to relationships, it doesn't inspire a Leo to divulge his deepest emotions. Expressing those emotions makes us feel vulnerable and we WON'T do that unless we can trust that you won't hurt our hearts. Since you've been laid back with him, he probably doesn't think you're serious about him. Even if he DOES care about you, unless he's feel truly comfortable emotionally, he'll probably protect his heart just in case.

Astrology aside, you're a "friend with benefits", which is basically a different version of the "friendzone". You're fulfilling his physical needs, so he sees no reason to explore anything emotional. Think of it this way, if he's already getting his dessert, why should he have to eat his vegetables?

2-1/2 years? That's a long time. You need to start ignoring him a little more and telling him no sometimes. Just enough to where he'll start questioning his worth in your life. He wants to be the center of your attention and if he's not, then he will try his hardest until he is again.
