I'm a Leo... I just was curious - why are we the most hated? Not all of us are bad people. We can actually be very good friends if you allow us to be... Everytime the Leo zodiac is brought up a lot of people never have anything nice to say. We are leaders... We are loyal. So why are we hated so much?

Leo is the only zodiac with the character trait CONCEITED. This is the most popular trait that people choose to remember and associate with Leos. That and our bossy nature. But everyone forgets how loyal we are, how generous we are and how creative we are. Its sad really because Leos can be great friends, partners, parents and teachers. So for those who decide to hate us before they love us..... Screw them!!!!!!

Your reason for justifying this behavior is understandable, but given that other signs are much more humbler and caring in their approach is what makes you guys hated.

Also, a lot of Leos are very full of themselves without a cause. Most are extremely obnoxious and in your face with their personality which can rub people the wrong way, because you like to flaunt your successes at people. You see it as 'I'm the shit' we see it as 'how insecure can you be?'

In relationships, you are very bratty and spoiled. Yes, you are loving, doting, warm, and loyal, but you also tend to toy with people's emotions by giving the wrong signals. Expect people to be on your beck and call and get upset when those same people, who you took no time or effort with, move on. Then you try to reel them back in by trying to be the loving/doting Leos that you are.

These are just some of the reasons why you guys come off the wrong way. Don't take offence Leos. I still love you. But you have to admit your flaws and be more humble about it.

For those less evolved Leos in the kitten stage, remember that you don't need people to feel validated or appreciated. Attention is nice but don't bring negative attention to yourselves then complain why bad things are happening to you. Man up to your responsibility and accept fault.

Side note: I'm pretty sure Caps and Geminis get more hate than Leos.

Plenty of other signs discard people. We actually keep more people around than most signs (which is apparently somehow a problem too). We can't seem to win for losing. It's either we keep too many people around or we discard too many people. Aries, Gemini, Scorpios, Capricorns, Aquas, etc can also discard people just as fast or even faster. We're just not quiet about it.

The reason why Leos are hated is because generally we aren't subtle. We know how to get what we want and are unapologetic about it. We can be heavy handed with our intentions. Some people feel that things come all to easy for a Leo, not understanding the work we put in quietly behind the scenes. It's as if people assume all Leos are rich kids who were born with a displaced sense of entitlement.

Whenever someone is "hating" on a Leo, it's usually because they encountered a Leo who was emotionally immature. The Leos are typically loud and obvious. Other signs can get a pass for the same type of behavior. Aries are said to be impulsive and brash yet they're endearing and childlike. Geminis can be flighty yet that's part of their elusive charm. Scorpios can be jealous and obsessive, yet this is to be expected. If a Leo exhibits one of these traits, we're somehow the worst.

Also it's hard to pinpoint a Leo's "thing" so most people like to focus on our "ego". Regardless Leos have a very diverse skill set, so much so that we even forget our own strengths. Leos are "supposed" to be in creative and/or leadership roles. That's a huge range! Typical professions include actors, artists, chefs, dancers, entrepreneurs, musicians, politicians, teachers, managers, CEOs (that just a few).

The other thing is that no one (and I mean NO ONE) pays attention to the silent, humble Leos. No one seems to even know those types of non-flashy Leos even exist. There's basically no write ups on Leos who DON'T apparently like to wear bright colors and flashy jewelry all day. The Leos who are just doing their thing sinmply don't exist according to astrology.

So really the reason why we're hated is we're supposed to be. We lead by example after all (whether that be good or bad). A humble Leo either goes unnoticed or generally loved. A selfish Leo is vilified and usually becomes the basis for the entire archetype of Leo behavior.

No, you are wrong. Leos are NOT the most hated. They are well-loved.... unless you are an outlier 😄

i dont believe all leos are hated, just the less evolved/matured ones. I've seen ugly caps that use em and leave em...and gems being manipulative...and so on and so on...we are zodiac signs but not all are equal...experiences change us into (hopefully) someone away from the cookie cutter mould.

i use to be a brash, headstrong leo and as i go through the shit in my life and learning from these outcomes, i become more confident from the inside, not from the outside.

In my experience they're brash, loud, wanting attention, self absorbed and not really caring about other people's feelings. Sorry.

Leos are loved and hated by the same people. The same individuals we attract with our over the top personality, charm, noticeable presence and talented nature is the same individuals who will grow to hate us for it. I've never understood that and honestly never will. As a Leo, I am very aware of my flaws and am constantly working to improve myself. However, because I am a fixed sign I will not be rushed to do anything, will voice my opinion and will stand my ground. So hate me because I'm not a push over?? That's fine. Leos come off as arrogant and conceited to less confident people. You couldn't put two Leos in a room and think one will back down, so other zodiacs should do the same. There are worst signs, with worst attitudes. You have signs that will stalk you, try to posses you and manipulate you (Scorpio) but who cares right? You have signs that say what they feel and disregard your feelings, never be consistent and extremely impatient (Sags) but who cares right?? I don't apologize for being a Leo, good or bad, because the good outweighs the bad and anyone who has ever DATED a Leo would say we were one of the best they ever had. (Speaking on Leo Women)

people hate on each other for simple or sophisticated reasons. be happy that they still can manage to be lovely from time to time.

apparently we cannot have love without hate. at least for comparison so to know what it is.

nah, sometimes it's just because they cannot afford being the copy of them cause they are the alternative of them. it's like when I would hate Gemini cause I can rarely live like a Gemini.

Also I think it is not hate if people are only telling their opinion, perception, experience. Life is not admiring us all the time either. I can be punished for what/how I am today. Tomorrow awarded for it. Apple has to accept that pear finds her abnormal.
