I WANT my Leo!

So, I met this guy and he's really peaked my interest. Unfortunately, he's very unpredictable. I've never dated a Leo before and I could use some sound advice. It's only been a couple of weeks, I can't even say that we're dating but I'm the beginning stage. We are both looking for a serious relationship. I'm divorced, he's been engaged. To back up a bit. I'm a Virgo and I'm about 3 years older than him. I'm black and he's white. Sooo.... he texted me yesterday and I had no idea who he was------ I reset my phone and didn't back it up since I'd saved his number. So I lost some contact and lots of beautiful selfies!!! So his response was, "Wow" "that's low" "that's real low" "it's ok", so I after explaining that I really didn't know his responded again with "you deleted our messages and shit? It's the white kid , I get it" and BAM!! I was blocked. I tried texting him to explain from a texting app because I was blocked, I even changed my phone number to text him, basically pleading with him to unblock me. NOT ONE RESPONSE!! ZERO. He gets pretty busy and doesn't always text or communicate the way I'd like to, but he always does! Always. He mentioned when we exchanged numbers and started talking that he wanted to take things slow. Kinda hard for me because I fall pretty quickly for guys (Virgo) but I was willing to take him up on the offer. My question is, should I walk away now and completely forget about any hopes of reigniting anything? Do I still have a chance? And how do I get him back, and KEEP HIM!?
