our weakness is "too trusting"

and how to remove that? I'm tired of that my heart keep crushing whenever trust was broken, either it's from someone I just known/met or someone of my life. I ever try to dont take everything personally& dont trust people easily...but it instantly ends up people gone too soon.

Maybe trust is not the issue, but that give too much in the beginning, people who do that are are bound to be advantage off and be perceived as needy, weak, easy to be stepped on by many people, unfortunately. Is that true with you?

Yes, lol. Though in the beginning I didnt give too much coz I took my time to observe whether this person was worth to be 'trusted'? In this observing time up to the final result that I shouldnt trust him/her...always...he/she win at make me think twice. I easily feel sympathy, generous at him/her without expecting anything back. I thought I only do this one time only with him/her...but it ends up I keep doing it for him/her. As you said, being stepped on ☺

Toughen up. "The only way to know if you can trust someone is to trust them"

You wont live a very satisfying life if you have to go around dodging everyone for fear of betrayal, however small or big.
