Will a Leo regret wronging you?

So background, I'm an Aries female who has known my Leo ex for over half my life. He for years would on and off again chase me, but I would never fully give in. Regardless of the fact that he would irritate me from time to time, he has always been one of my favorite people. Finally of over 10 years of him pursuing me, I gave in and the chemistry was unlike any other ( I have dated Leo's in the past and I am aware that the have certain charm to them, but this was an intensity unlike any other.) Unfortunately, he kept making mistakes. I wouldn't nag him and surprisingly didn't loose my temper and rather would say "You know how I treat you. Treat me with the same respect that I give you.". I never told him he was wrong, but openly admitted that he would regret hurting me after I told him I couldn't keep do this. I didn't attack him and he didn't attack me. It was actually more sadness than anger.

I guess my question is in a situation like this where a Leo man knows he's wronged another person and the other person is willing to forgive, will there be hope for reconnection? Or is it forever done?

A couple months have past and even after no contact it breaks my heart to not have him in my life and I just wish he felt the same.
