We did have 13 years of happiness though...so much that it would scare me to be with another Taurus...since it ended so horribly. Everyone said we were the relationship they wanted. Our wedding day was amazing. He tells me that every time we talk. Which is few and far between. Best that I stay away from that man.

I have and continue to have amazing relationships with air, earth and fire signs. All 3 have some of my best friends across the 9
signs. But something about water signs just does not seem to fit well!
Yeah Cancer... I can't.
But probably because my Dad is a Cancer... I love him, but let's just say every Cancer I meet reminds me of my Dad and that is not a good thing.
My best friend is a Scorpio. I have a best guy friend that is a Pisces, but we never clicked in that way. I was just never interested in him like that? (He slept around a lot... Haha) His choice though...

I actually am really enjoying my current relationship. He's a Sag Sun, Cancer Moon, Cap Venus, and Scorpio Mars.

He allows me the freedom I need and understands me. I don't even have to explain to him how I feel, he just knows a lot of the time. He is more affectionate than the Taurus was. We can talk for hours. He makes me laugh and we get over problems pretty fast. Both like to please each other. He seems stubborn with others, but not with me. He's a teddy bear around me. 🙂 We both like to travel as well.

We'll see how it goes.

Ok so I've seen all the complaints about what isn't working...

Anything that is/did work?

What is/was their sun/moon/venus/mars?
I've seen lots of Libra-Sag couples; 2 of my Libra friends had many unsuccessful relationships until they found a Sag and settled down.

I can see that. Dated many after the big breakup. Sag was the only one I could be myself around. Everything just clicked. We liked the same things. There's no jealousy, no possessiveness. It just feels very natural.

Briefly dated a few Virgos (physically attracted but incompatible communication-wise), almost all exes were water signs (longest relationship was with a Cancerian), dated one Gem & that was a disaster.
Current GF is Libra Sun, Gemini Moon, Libra Mercury, Virgo Venus, Gemini Ascendant; I've never been so mentally attracted to someone in my entire life + it's my first relationship in which we don't look like complete opposites/odd couple.
A lot of my female Libra friends are w/ Virgos.

Scorpio!
Agreed!
This is another one i don't understand. Scorpio is so controlling for Libra. Yet i see this pairing getting married left and right.
Ime aside from my mom, libra like to have someone in charge to make the decision so they don't have to
Omg no. I hate people telling me what to do. Yikes ¬Neither me, my mom, or my sister appreciate someone trying to be in charge of us. We're all Libras.

My close Libra friend who is recently married to a Scorpio is a hospital administrator. They are constantly having power struggles about every little thing. How to decorate the living room, whether or not to rent out their 2nd home (she also has a real estate license), etc.etc. I personally like peace too much for this type of thing.

That's the main problem i had with a scorp ex. He got mad that i actually wanted to think things thru for myself and wouldn't just do as he told me. Smh. Never that.

Yeah it's not that I don't like to make decisions, I don't like to be pressured to make a decision I don't want to make.

Also Taurus gets obsessed with people too much. That's scary.
Like I said, I'm scared now...there's a reason.
Yea i bet. My bf had to block a Taurus male who used to be his friend. My bf stopped being friends with him after he started dating my bfs sister then proceeded to cheat on her. The Taurus was texting him, calling, eventually he started writing letters. This was occurring over about 2 years. He was also doing the same to my bfs sister. My bf finally blocked him. But I was like daaammmmmnnnn!

I had one go nuts on me because i wouldn't answer his phone calls after meeting him at a club. I still remember the crazy ass vms he left on my phone. Straight nutso.

Yeah my ex cheated... And abused me. He was then upset with me for changing my number (he found it out, so I had to block him.) Then he emailed me in all caps upset that I blocked him. He showed up at my work. He grew up in a good family. His Mother taught him well. I don't get it.
I know this is a personal thing, but never again. I felt like he thought he owned me. He said I betrayed him because I left and proceeded to blame his issues with women on me afterwards. He's messing around with many women right now, says when they try to get close he cuts them off because he doesn't want to commit. He said he still wants to be friends with me. It's so crazy.

So happy to have this Sag in my life. He's so different.

i like the obsession! it matches well with my obsessive scorp placements but i can see that it is only fun while things are good. i've not witnessed the ugly side. i guess that i've been saved by the sagg moon so from what i've read and witnessed i would say the best parter for leeb probably would be sagg.

I see a lot of Libra with Libra. How's that going for you so far? Would you say that the similarities are comforting? Or do you have enough differences that make it exciting?

I'm really curious about this pairing. I would imagine that if we are too similar, I might get bored. Yet I can understand the easy connection, being alike emotionally and mentally.

I also see Libra-Scorpio and Libra-Virgo a lot. It could be that they're our neighbours, we are familiar with them and them with us, hence the easy connection. Well, for most of us. I see some don't really like their neighbours.

And I agree that Libra-Sag make a nice pair. I find Sags are very easy for me to get along with. We can never stop talking and there's never a dull moment.

I love Scorpio, Sag and Gemini energy now if I would just find a balance. I think I only likes the Sag for the adventure and passion though the passion could have been his Leo and Scorp placements though. Gemini with Scorpio moon understood me the most out of anyone, but he was too flighty so I agree with @ElTigre25 best to be alone lol. @ElTigre25 I wonder how we would fair in a relationship both Libra Suns with Cancer moon LOL probably disastrous!

Mmmmmmm all depends.

I honestly can't say personally for me. I can mesh well with any sign (thugged it out with a Virgo for 4 YEARS!!!)but my personal preference?

Scorpio and cancer. For some reason these two signs are the only two that can make me jump in a relationship QUICK and I mean quick and idk why I think its because both can be very, very, very feminine if you're man enough and both can be very loyal. And they have beautiful eyes and soft souls, especially the Scorpio women. They have a hard exterior but they are truly soft souls. Not soft like the typical meaning but soft as in easy to connect to, easy to pull to. They always pull me in, I think they just know how to talk to me lol
I agree with you on the cancer part. We tend to hit it off immediately. The cancer ex and i would still be together if she didnt have kids. Never been with a Scorpio though. Never really checked the signs of the other girls I have dated never really got serious with a lot I them, I only checked the ones that mattered. Cancers and caps have a special place in my heart or something.

All of my long term relationships have been with Virgo and Taurus. Virgo men just love me...for some reason. Maybe we both adore good hygiene. My current boyfriend is Cancer with 4 Virgo placements...I just love Virgos they are so together. For me I do well with earth they ground me, I need that as a double air.

I have dated Gem and Aquarius both unreliable, lied and cheated. Aries will never enjoy my strong personality but are attracted to me.

But Virgos all the way!
I have never dated a Virgo. I love Virgo women as friends though. Very sweet people. But I don't know many Virgo men. My Sag bf does have a lot of Virgo friends though and he likes having them around. His best friend (a Virgo male) said his life would be boring without my Sag bf though. Haha

It's Aquarius, it's undeniable.
I did go on a couple dates with a sweet, funny, very active aquarius. My sister is an Aquarius and I LOVE her. My Grandma was an Aquarius and I just adored her so much.

I think the Aquarius and I had very different backgrounds though for us to continue. And because I tend to be distant and so was he, we didn't get to a deeper level. I will say though, that was the best kiss I have ever experienced in my life.

I disagree on Taurus. They are probably the one sign I'm least attracted to on every level. I'm pretty sure it's because of the lack of earth and water in my chart. We just don't care about the same things at all. I think they are sweet but i find them really boring and materialistic. Also even the ones who are attractive have an animalistic brute kind of thing going on that doesn't work for me at all.
The main reason I broke up with my Taurus Sun ex was that I was SO bored. Never mentally stimulated at all. Taurus works nicely as my husb Moon though. I like the sturdy, stable feeling but it's inside him instead of being on the outside all boring and overly stubborn. lol. Works well with my Venus.

We threw each other off balance. His stubborn nature was ok at first. I was able to deal with it and not take it so seriously. I wouldn't say he liked to "control" me but I would say he was VERY stubborn. If he didn't want to do something or talk about something, it was like pulling teeth or as I would say it made me want to hit my head against a brick wall. Compromise is a big thing for me and getting over issues quickly. He could hold a grudge for life and needed "time" to think about it. Which felt like forever to me. I wanted to travel, try new things, explore the world. He wanted to stay at home, watch TV, sleep, and talk to our neighbors all the time. If I had friends, he found a way to not like them or accuse me of doing things with them (male or female) which led to me not talking to them for the sake of our relationship. Which would be fine if they actually did something to offend him, but in that case I would have gotten rid of them on my own. But they didn't. So I was left to compromise. When it happened with a "friend" of his (who he ended up cheating on me with later) he would not let her go no matter what. And because I couldn't go anywhere I wanted with my partner I felt so bored and suffocated. It got bad when I started to mirror his stubborness, possessiveness, and jealousy. I turned my cold shoulder on him. I separated from him when I realized that wasn't who I was and his rage was starting to show. I'm not a jealous person. We stayed together, but weren't living together. He would convince me to come back using family. All the while he was cheating (even before I left and continued when I moved out with the same girl), but telling me he loved me and would never hurt me. When I caught him, his rage was like no other. I won't go in detail, but it was horrible. I wouldn't say all Taurus men are like this.
But I know I would never go nea

It's going extremely well! Everything with us moved REALLY fast; usually I'll be in the "we're just talking" phase for a couple months but we started officially dating within a month of first meeting. It's uncanny how alike we are (we've both made lists of the little to eerily close similarities we have & it's PRETTY LONG; ranges from nearly identical embarrassing moments in life to mirrored beauty marks) & I've never clicked with anyone this much in terms of pure mental energy. We both like to talk a lot (first time we ever spoke on the phone was for 3.5 hours straight), we both know what we want out of our relationship and it's weird because it usually takes me a year or 2 to figure that out.

In terms of differences, she's very goal-oriented, outgoing, impatient, & aggressive (she was the one who initiated first); I'm very artistic, easy-going, patient, & mellow. She came from a more higher class upbringing, I grew up within an inner city environment and those environments really influenced our diction, vernacular, syntax, & every verbal inflection we speak (which we both find VERY mutually interesting, as we both have a thing for accents & colloquialisms). It's actually a long distance relationship (actually between 2 countries) but it never feels like that since we talk a lot throughout the day, we wake up around the same time & video chat while we get ready for work, and we've seen each other 3 times in the past month & a half.

It's truly a great balance of similarities that drew us in to differences that keep us intriguing about each other and gives a lot of room for personal and mutual growth. We both agree that she needs to learn how to relax and I need to learn how to focus, and it's a dynamic that we find very beneficial.

I tend to mirror when I'm unhappy. I try my best not to and once I catch myself doing it I'll stop. She's unhappy...so she probably is having a hard time not showing it and it's coming out in that way.

@jane84 Sorry to hear about your experience with your Taurus ex.

I'm married to a Taurus. So far, as I've mentioned in another thread, we're doing great together. It's a very fulfilling partnership for me. We communicate very well with each other. Whatever kinks we encounter gets ironed out asap. He does sometimes gets stubborn and refuses to talk when I'm anxious to. But that's something I've learnt to deal with. He's taught me the virtues of being patient, and that includes being patient with him.

I have an insatiable wanderlust, and fortunately for me, so does he 🙂 (he has a Sag stellium) ... Even better is that his work involves a lot of travel, so I go with him whenever I can. But I spent most of my 20s, prior to settling down, travelling around the world, so for the most part, I've experienced a lot on my own.

And just to add to the whole Libra needing stability. I think for most Libras, we crave both excitement and stability. That whole balancing thing. But it's hard to achieve both at the same time. When I was younger I was with a Pisces for almost 10 years. He was a musician in a band. His lifestyle was very exciting and hedonistic. At the time, I enjoyed every bit of it. But by the time I was in my late 20s, I was ready to settle down and have kids, but he wasn't. So that was that. Then I met my Taurus husband and things just fell in place.

yes, my taurus has taught me a lot about patience but funny, we balance each other with the talking. sometimes i would rather shut things down and not discuss it and he will force it out of me. other times i will need to push him to say what he wants to.

his mercury is in gemini and mine in virgo so maybe my earth placement coincides with him at times as does his air with mine.

he also never enforces his idea on me. he can be pushy when his mind is set on something but i will be equally stubborn and adamant and we again, balance the relationship with equal opposing forces.

Well I have more Fire and Air in my chart... He has more Water and Earth. Maybe that's why?
Truth is we grew up with each other and into two very different people. So I think that plays more into our relationship than anything else. It's pretty sad that it ended that way. Wish that it hadn't.

However, my Sag and I have more common goals, he isn't stubborn so I'm not. We have more similar backgrounds, went to college, ambitious, but want a humble lifestyle (except the traveling part.) Taurus was more big house, 4 kids (but didn't really try for them), woman cooks and cleans. Sag is more like me: travel, 2 kids, humble home, save money for their college expenses. Both partners cook and clean. If we have a disagreement, we talk about it. He ï¸Thanks me for talking to him about it and we move on. We laugh so much together, especially on road trips. But we can also just watch a movie, or do our own thing and it doesn't feel weird.

A Sag was a 100% intellectual affair and friendship and broke my heart to a million pieces, a Virgo was seven years of good sex, it built me up again, but it really wasn't anything deep, Taurus is while totally my crush, I mean totally, I lose my head, I can't take that amount of headstrong, nor can they (I'm Taurus rising), and our values just don't match (materialistic versus simple, meaningful life, small things, etcv) and I had a 10 month relationship with a Libra man who talked the pants off of me every time and brought out my much more passionate side and with whom I felt like being lovers/friends and even cutely intimate but it was so intense, all the talking, hanging out and all the wild sex, that I did not feel like myself and I broke it off all of a sudden -- true, the underlying reason was a lie, something that was there from the beginning but we were carried away (not a family or anything like that) and did not resolve it. And my greatest love of all is an Aqua, has been for a long time but we haven't given each other a chance until now. The sweet dark sad Aqua guy whose heart has been broken so many times and who is such a hearbreaker himself but when I'm with him everything is so peaceful. I just wonder if he feels the same way or is it too weird for him? It's not easy to talk to him about these things, other than in emails or chat, but then, I'm shy myself sometimes. You really have no idea, all you people who accuse us Libras of minding too much what others think of us.. All I care about sometimes if anything I say or do hurts someone. And then I hurt them sometimes, when my emotions get in the way. So I guess it's just.. I don't know. We just don't know how to channel emotions right. But sometimes I think, if I'd also learn how to do that there'd be nothing left that's raw in me. The funny side, yes, but fun is not always enough. So, if you ask me, there's nothing in the world I'd want more than to see my Aqua love happy. I wish he felt the same.

Yeah my Libra still can't explain what it is about me that made him fall so quickly, his mother was also puzzled as well and had pretty much accepted that he would not get married and give her grandkids. Needless to say she's thrilled that I have whatever it is that gave him a change of heart.

I think cancer women know how to tame our dark side. My ex was amazing she tamed me, made me see life for more than just myself. It was one of those fly by night relationships, we were just supposed to just have fun, and before I knew it we were living together and she just balanced me out.

Cancers and caps just attract me for some reason. I think its a mystery I will just enjoy trying to figure out Š

He's taught me the virtues of being patient, and that includes being patient with him.
yes, my taurus has taught me a lot about patience but funny, we balance each other with the talking. sometimes i would rather shut things down and not discuss it and he will force it out of me. other times i will need to push him to say what he wants to.

his mercury is in gemini and mine in virgo so maybe my earth placement coincides with him at times as does his air with mine.

he also never enforces his idea on me. he can be pushy when his mind is set on something but i will be equally stubborn and adamant and we again, balance the relationship with equal opposing forces.

I think that gemini in mercury really helps, I have that and have always felt I connected really well with libras. Maybe that's why. 🙂
