I’ve known this man for years. He’s been eyeing me and flirting all along. Now I’m married and soon to be divorced (he doesn’t know that) and thought ok why not.

Well I soon learned the reasons to “why not”. Yes he’s charming, confident, intelligent, handsome and etc, etc. I quickly became mesmerized by him. He comes and goes in my life. One minute he’s into me then the next he’s not. It’s ok because I’m a busy business person and can’t spend much time pining over anyone. I see too much work a head with him but might be willing to try if he could be consistent. Personally I don’t believe cancers and libras mix. I told him this and he stated he was in a 10 year relationship with a cancer girl with my same name. Same name - still unnerves me. I’m intrigued by him. Is it worth the effort with him being an air sign and me water.

This pairing is very similar, wants the same things. It can work if other placements in the natal chart are compatible. I know a Cancer female/Libra male pairing that not only dated 10 yrs but then got married. It works between them because the other placements in their chart blend well.

I think I can give you an answer based on my experience.

I'm a Cancer female and my boyfriend is a Libra male. And like you said, he's super charming and outgoing which I like because Cancers are the complete opposite. I'm shy and introverted so I like being with him. But I don't want to lie, we do fight often because we have our differences and I can be very sensitive when he likes to joke around and says things he doesn't mean.

Another thing you have to watch out is that some Libras are known to be players. My boyfriend was sincere from the beginning and told me he was a big player before he met me. So far he hasn't cheated on me and we're trying to work on our problems. I don't know if the relationship will last but I do love him and he's different and special unlike other men I've met. That's why I'm still with him.

I’m sure it’s difficult. We can’t go one week without him being so oblivious to my feelings. Now I just say,”Wow that hurts.” So he can tell when he’s hurting my feelings.

I asked him, shouldn’t this be easier. We shouldn’t have to work at dating. lol Of course, the smooth talker says,” The pursuit of happiness may be daunting but the reward is priceless.” Yeah I know, he is good with the words.

It’s those actions that keep me around. He shows up at my office to make sure we are good. But of course, Mr. Cool would never say that’s why he’s there. He stands there and take my hand. Then he looks at me like he wants to say something but doesn’t. I kiss him, he smiles and leave. May not hear from him for another day or two.

“ It’s ok because I’m a busy business person and can’t spend much time pining over anyone.“

You wouldn’t be wasting time making this thread if the above were true. You’re a fool.

True...what if you weren't a busy person because that can and preferably does happen. I mean eventually you don't want to be SO busy that you don't even realize what you want out of life...which is what it sounds liek here.

It sounds like you would want more consistent communication but because you're so busy you're not noticing that one of your needs are not being met.

If you don't talk about it now then later on ... 1) you might be explosive since it's been so ongoing 2) he might be completely taken aback (that's not a good feeling fyi) when someone brings up an issue in a relationship and you end up thinking "why are you bringing this up now if its been an issue for so long"..... which can create distrust.

So why are you putting aside something that you want/need/value?
