Do Libras Suffer from Commiment Phobia?

A little. I always want to be attatched but I think I like the sound of it more than actually being it.
I feel like I have this unrealistic dream partner and too many "what ifs". I never picture myself being married, but I like the idea of someone committing to me forever.

Yeah I am finally getting married because he is such a good man who loves me and we get a long very well and I love him in an agape way. Truth is; I am getting older and we get along so well. So might as well.

I am a commitment phobia I need so much space i hope we get a two-story house with lots of bedrooms so i have a lot of space.

When I am single, I'll be talking to a few dudes. It's the hardest thing to get me to stay put. It's also hard for me to express my feelings with my awkward ass alien moon and it comes off as me not caring. And I admit a terrible characteristic of leading on. Actually, a Virgo helped me realize it when I ripped his heart out like a cold bitch and chose the leo.

But when ya got me, ya got me. And I'm in it faithfully for the longhaul which is why I believe I'm scared as hell to commit. 6 years with the first. 5 with the second. Now going on 2 with the current. I mean, that's a lot of years lol

It is a nasty habit of mine but I am a certified stalker. It has gotten to the point where people ask me to do it for them. I really should have been a private investigator, but I am also on the cusp of Scorpio so there is that.

A Sag followed me from coast to coast for a year and half almost two years. Would obtain my unlisted numbers and would not leave me alone. I thought in time Sag would go away and lose interest, but the only peace I ever had was in disconnecting my land line. Finally I wrote a Cease and Desist letter informed the Sag the police put a tracer on my phone, uploaded restraining order papers and told Sag I filed a police report. IT's been 72 so far no harassing calls.

Only from the outside looking in. The Leebs I know aren't commitment phobes, they just take a long time to decide what they want and whether or not it's feasible. Once they make up their minds tho, it's on.

Oh I have never really done it in person it is mostly online unless you count driving by some one's house to see if a car they said wasn't gonna be there was there. Also once you make it pretty clear that you are totally done I wont contact you but I may online stalk you. The last thing I did was write a 5 page letter and leave it on a guys steps, but that was saying good bye and wishing him the best. I haven't contacted him since. And yes it would I would never do anything to make people think they were in danger from me my dad is a cop he would be very upset if he found out I had a restraining order. Not to mention that my stalking is more out of curiosity than anything especially if something ended abruptly I like to know why. I mostly stalk because I wanna see how people tick. I read between the lines and come up with the fact.

Triple Libra/Scorp Venus

First relationship-14/almost 15 years

After that I apparently "broke" all kinds of hearts when I wouldn't commit to anyone I was just getting to know. I didn't intend to, but I would not commit until I was sure that person was the right one for me. I told them, but they still fell for me. My heart was broken. If my heart is broken, there's no way I will commit. I can't put that on someone else. Plus I wanted to be alone and just travel with friends.

2 years later I finally made a commitment again. I hate being scared of relationships now. But the word "marriage" still kind of freaks me out..

I'm not a Libra sun but a moon and rising with a seventh house stellium -- this was said perfectly. Recently I had to break up with my Gemini boyfriend, because I simply wasn't ready. He even said to me "I think you love the idea of being with someone, but when push comes to shove you can't handle what comes with it yet." And I agreed, and we split amicably. So as a Libra dominant, I greatly identify with this.

Yes, actually I do. It's not time for me to commit to anyone just yet. I personally have a lot to heal within myself. So I was happy with the mutual decision, and still am. We will remain friends.

How do you as a Libra sun feel knowing that you sometimes find it difficult to fully relinquish yourself to someone in a commitment?

Oh well it's great you feel happy with your decision and you guys still remain friends. It's good you went with how you felt. And for me, I have a really hard time letting go. So that's my fear when it comes to commitment, it may possibly not work out after giving some much of yourself to someone. I would hate to give it up.

Yeah, I was grateful that he was so understanding and had no resentments with my decision. He actually told me he really respected that I was up front and cut it off before we got in too deep. He's an air moon as well, so he was just as communicative as me which was very helpful.

I absolutely get that -- that's probably why I find it hard to commit a lot of the time as a Libra moon; that's my feelings. And I need it to feel right, fair and equal, for both parties. Or I detach and want to remove myself from the connection as soon as possible. It's just hard when you don't want to hurt people or let them down -- I caught myself people pleasing briefly, and forcing the relationship initially. Because he treated me so well, and my friends all loved him. But at the end of the day, it's supposed to feel right with the two people involved. And it didn't for me.

The fact of the matter is, Libra placements in general need to feel that the partnership is truly right for them. You may see that people with personal placements in Libra tend to have a busy dating life, but it's only due to the fact that we're looking for the one we TRULY want to bond with. Or, their love life is on hiatus. It's about balance, of course. And if a Libra placement doesn't feel that, they disengage.
And in some cases, it's us who are creating the lack of balance in the union; hence why I stated that I have some things to work on personally before I enter into a commitment for real again.
The only apprehension Libra influenced people seem to experience (don't want to speak for everyone) is when things don't feel equal, and when that happens they will adjust the circumstances accordingly and as justly as possible.
