What do YOU think are your negative qualities?

Sometimes I think my Libra is the sweetest person ever. Very affectionate. But dating for months have lead me to see new sides...1. she seems very self oriented. Everything is all about how she feels and my feelings aren't as important
2.she has a bad temper
3. She hides a lot. Its difficult to get full openness. Not dishonesty I mean. Just not saying when there's a problem
4. she's quick to place blame
5. Slightly vindictive to others just cause

Yepp, bad tember, I sign the dotted line. BUT it very rarely happens, and with time one is able to act about it in a self-critical way. So, like, I have bad temper, but almost immediately I make fun of myself. And that's really the only thing one can do. And hopefully have a partner who can accept this kind of solution. 🙂 Not saying when there is a problem, yes, blame placing and vindictiveness and self-orientedness, not so much, no. It is usually the opposite. Taking the blame (because I am strong enough), doing anything but vindictive stuff (although maybe thinking about it for a second! 🙂, and serving others. Guess it depends on other placements, too. For sure libras have a lot of emotions and sometimes it rushes all over me and it's hard to contain everything and do or say exactly what is right, and it's been so since my childhood. But there is always a will to clarify things and the best way to do it is to show it with one's actions. If your Libra is young, be her friend, that's most important than anything, and love her but talk about these things to her, as a partner. If she is more mature, watch for signs if she is able to put her habits and behaviour into perspective. There is really nothing more one can expect from another person, is there?

Well LIBRAS tend to be unbalanced almost all the time. They are extremely critical but they would do t in the nicest way. They are usually detached from their emotions. Making a decision on what to buy as clothes or food is the hardest decision for them. Also the temper they have is out of this world. You piss them off when they're scales are tipped it's not a pretty sight. They will throw hurtful things out there and will not stop until they feel purged out of the negative feelings they were having. They also are all about beauty and how people perceive them.. Lol their image is EVERYTHING to them. Last but not least their egos are huge, almost bigger than a Leo's ego. But besides all of those things they are good people!

Also , they hold grudges. They will make a person think that they moved on but a libra never forgets. They have a tendency to have a lot of resentment for a lot of people that did them wrong. ( even if it was over 10 years ago) lol. This leads to a lot of passive aggression from the libra .

hmmm...i must say i dont relate to any of the things you mentioned...but i met a few libras that have those characteristics...

you must talk to her...point out whats bothering you...

I think it's really only the immature / unbalanced Libras that tend to possess these qualities. I also notice it a lot more among the males.

Everyone has negative traits. Libras are definitely not the exception.

But being very self-oriented is not something I'd associate with a Libra; perhaps an immature and selfish Libra. The Libras I know and myself included are more other-oriented. I suppose this has more to do with upbringing. I grew up in a culture that emphasised being other-oriented.

Bad tempered huh? Again most Libras I know are pretty chilled. I do get moody though, and when the scales are severely unbalanced (Libra cliche I know) and I'm feeling overwhelmed, I can lash out, normally with words, very cutting and cold, but I chalk that up to my scorpio mars in 1st.

@Aqua_firece - what are your Libra's placements? Does she have a lot of Scorpio?

You're being a little too stereotypical. Everyone's chart is different meaning we won't all have the same qualities. I was making a post based on experience with MY Libra. Not all libras. Don't take offense.

Some ppl too damn sensitive lol. Its good to get feedback from the non sensitive negative libras.

On another note we all have good and bad traits i agree with some of the responses and what u mentioned it doesn't bother me these traits in libras.

bad temper? yes. but similiar to working girl, i haven't been livid in years. it takes a monumental effort to really get me angry.
self involved? i can be. i often think i am talking about myself a lot especially with those close to me.
not always open? guilty but again, it's really dependent on how much i trust you.
quick to blame? no. i will blame myself a hundred times before i blame anyone else. i wouldn't say that blaming other is a leeb trait. we are too concerned with being the best at whatever we do. if there is blame then it is ours for not being good enough at whatever.
slightly vindictive...hmm, can be but i prefer the world to dish out karma.

oh yes, i love a good grudge too.

other faults would have to be i can be fairly emotionless and cold. i think i don't trust people very easily and as such can be easily upset if i feel disrespected.

Im sure you partner if they ever saw your post about libras cheating would breakup with u fast. It's ok 4 u to cheat and be this that but when they do it u would drop them. U stay telling someone what they maybe or what they sound like lol. Your not perfect but it SEEMS ur partner cant get away with anything i see. Hmmm

1. I was never this way..even as a yungun. I always cared a little too much about other people's feelings, and not wanting to hurt them. However, by the time I hit my mid 20's to early 30's, I kinda stop caring about the folks that didn't appreciate my willingness to compromise, and started treating them accordingly..meaning I treat them they way they treat me.

2. 100% in agreement, but it always took a lot for me to get to that level, but yes, once I did or do, it's a horrible sight to see

3. I wouldn't call it hiding anything...I personally just don't talk about my personal issues with someone unless I feel totally comfortable with them, and unfortunately that takes a long time to get to that level. As outgoing and sociable as Air signs can be, we are still quiet and reserved and in spite of the myth that we have a lot of friends, it's not true. We may socialize with a lot of people, but everyone that you socialize with is not your friend. It's a HUGE difference, and I for one, know this.

4 & 5. Nope..never been that sort of person either....However, if you were at fault, I would nicely make you aware of it..lol, but I've never had a problem owning up to anything that I did/do wrong. Grudges..Hell YEAH! Especially when I was young, but I have never been a vindictive person. I may not fuq with you after you did something to seriously hurt or disappoint me, but I would never seek revenge. I would just move on and let Karma do it's job, which it always did. I think that's also why folks think Libra's just disappear from a relationship at times. As crazy as it maybe, it's just a character flaw that we have, if that's what you want to call it, and how we deal with issues. I know for me personally, my anger can get so out of control that it was always best if I get out of dodge for a while to avoid jail time. I think when you know the things that get your goat, then you have to do what needs to be done for your own peace of mind. That is the one time that you really can't think about how how it affects other people, so if that's what everyone considers selfish, then it is what it is, but it's really best for both parties. Every sign has character flaws that can use some modifications. As human beings, we all do.

The reason I find this post so interesting is because I would say my libra mans biggest flaw is admitting he has any. I love the confidence, but it'd be nice for him to be able to realize and admit when he's being unpleasant. As a cancer the lack of self awareness drives me nuts but I love him anyways.

Well, if you love him then it's your job to call him out on his bullshiggity because if you don't he will continue to do it. Whenever his head begins to swell, deflate it. He'll appreciate it in the long run, and If he continues to do it or get mad about it, then you will have to decide if you really love him enough to deal with it. As a Cancer, I can't see you putting up with that kinda behavior for too long. My best friend is a Cancer, and even though she can be overly emotional to the umteenth power, she can and will CLAW the hell out of a person when she is pushed too far.

My Libra co-worker never directly expresses his displeasure, he just rants to people who have no power to make the change he seeks.

1. I used to be really people oriented and really wanting to make others happy and comfortable at my own expense. But more and more I would say I'm self oriented. The most precious thing I can give someone is my time and so if I have something to do for me first, I'll do that then get to you. Sounds bad but I've had people who I gave full loyalty to who didn't have the same when it came down to it....which makes me skip to number 5...

5. Sadly I hold grudges. I try not to though. Like this year I mentally finally forgave the 3 people who I feel wronged me the most in life, who I haven't spoken to in a range of 3 to 6 years, and the worst one of them I finally talked to. I still don't bang with them but I feel lighter...I'm glad to have grown because when I was real young I used to have a "I hate" list and new people kept getting added. I'm just so sensitive to other people! So like someone else said, making friends is easy but I know I'm always gonna be my number one best friend at the end of the day. And if a new person I meet displays any traits of someone who hurt me I start to disappear, and at first I don't even realize I'm doing it. Am trying to get "more in touch with my emotions" as I keep hearing as advised for Libras.

2. Only 2wice in my life do I remember being uncontrollably angry.

3. Yup, guilty. But id love to be able to open up to someone. People usually drop off before I ever get comfortable enough, and I usually end up glad that I kept that last part of me to myself.

4. I used to, and the only benefit is that it motivated me to be successful. But now I'm trying to "grow up" and find other motivating factors than blaming others for sucky things that happened in my life and that I feel set me back.

In general, my major flaw is painting people with the same brush stroke, making assumptions when something seems negative, then disappearing without communicating.

Yeah, I have a friend who totally called me out in a long emotional email. Of course with other people's emotions I'm like "yikesss" and freeze. I still haven't responded, but I totally respect that she did that and she may never know that I applaud her...but I'll of course respond eventually. Gotta "get in touch with my emotions" and get my words together first. I actually asked a Pisces for help since that's supposed to be their arena, and it actually was insightly. We need to start calling on other signs for help more often!
