Hey leebs, I have a weird question and hopefully I can get answers. All I want to know is why do you guys feel like its always okay to be nice to people who are really rude to you? Is it a nervous mechanism or do you guys just really, really dislike confrontation?

Disclaimer: My fiance is a libra.. lol.. he gets on my nerves sometimes when i can easily confront someone whos crossed me while he'll smile and continue to be pleasing.

Basically, I'm going to be me regardless of how someone else is. Yes it saves time because I'm not going to give more of my time to someone I don't care about.

If someone is rude, that reflects on them as a person, not me. Only certain people can push my buttons.

How I am different than what you described: I'm not going to please someone as they are being rude to me. I just will smile and let you go about your day. Doesn't change me one bit.

I don't hold grudges so that's what I think people notice. But what I won't do, is spend time around your grouchy rude self until you change that attitude lol

I'm not nice but I'm not aggressive either. I'll just stop smiling and keep things short.

I'm more sarcastic in confrontations.

I'm like "oooooooooook, (persons name)."

Or "oooooh....really??" "Surrrrrrrrrreee"

I don't continue to be kind to people who don't deserve it, however, I'm at least cordial.

Rather not focus on/acknowledge negative bs...I was prob more passive when I was younger right enough. Not so much now, I can get taken aback and shocked in the moment but it will come back around on you once ive done some plotting lol!
