that's right, I've made my decision to dump this one. Although I love Libras but this one just is missing something and I don't at this time want to wait and keep waiting. Its a Leo trait and I'm letting go. Actually the last few times we saw each other seemed as if we were going towards the fwb thing so I'm walking and don't want him anymore. If he were not so indecisive about things then I'd hang around.
How do you dump a Libra man?
so tell him the truth that I'm sick of him being indecisive and scared to make a decision? can I just give him the could shoulder and never call him again?
"If he were not so indecisive about things then I'd hang around."
Ask him why he is acting this way. Let him know how you feel other than this one issue, however this one issue is really important to you and that continuing the way it is currently is not an option for you.
You increase your likelihood of him telling you exactly what he is thinking about the two of you. You may still definately break up, but you may get some information and insight in the process that gives you closure in the decision.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but glad you've made the decision to take things into your own hands. Be firm but kind. Explain to him how you are feeling. I am sure he would still like to remain friends, as they always do...I am sure there is a reason for all his indecisiveness.
A guy wouldn't commit to a girl if they have a lot on their plate, whether it be figuring out their career, not enough money, family etc. Relationships shouldn't be such hard work if you're with the right person, but Libras put a all their energy into them and are very dedicated when they are ready. Perhaps he's just trying to settle his life first. Perhaps you should be platonic friends for a while.

only give him a reason if he asks. otherwise tell him it's been fun, but you're ready to part ways.

A libra that is indecisive is just not inrested in you. Prob. just doesn't want to hurt u. ( immature libra )

Serious if a libra is intrested they are all over you. Especially verbal.
Upheaval-he was all over me and then just stopped so I'm done. Funny tho, he calls from time to time looking for me. Think I'll just ignore it after that. I'm so tempted to just give him the cold shoulder since he does the same with me but then comes on strong after.

Dude (tte), it's so easy to dump people, especially a Libra -- the ultimate passive reticensse.
I think the real question is, do you really wanna?
If your real question is, how to cut that attachment, it probably isn't easy, but. .
First step:
1. It's all in the mind. Make up your mind. Weigh the pros and cons (which you have done already). Cancel them out, and you have all the bad points left on why he shouldn't remain in your life.
2. Then just pretend he doesn't exist anymore. It aint that hard. Libra may miss you, but they won't bother you if you don't want to be bothered.
Libra is the *easiest* sign to kick out of your life.
But then you already know that. You just can't fight your own attachment.
Make a decision and just stick to it.

no there is no attachment. I don't have the attachment. I am ignoring him and going on with my life.
Why is it that I'm called a dudette because I'm the one dumping? is there something wrong with a woman ending a relationship?
leo, dump the libra. leo's way is pretty much cold shoulder and disappear and go. its just the way i am. I'm so tired of someone that is afraid to decide. I know he's likes to weigh things out but he also has that touch of being obsessive or controlling. When I don't contact him right away he gets too aggressive and very bent out of shape.

Dudette is just the feminine form for dude. ๐
There is nothing wrong with dumping a guy. Especially one who won't commit. You are definitely on the right path to disappear and go. He seems to take a while to mature emotionally. Stick around only if you wanna be his babysitter.
You can't. LOL. He will keep coming back. I had to change my number so he can't contact me again and I was able to finally moved on after that. Well, if you're a stronger person than I was, then maybe you can just ignore him and not answer his calls or invitations.

I am confused. Maybe I got you mixed up with someone else but I thought you were just friends. Sorry if I got you confused with someone. I haven't been on here much lately.
Little Sparrow: you are correct in a way. We started off as friends and then more happened. we went from friends, fwb to dating and very close for him coupledom but then he backed out. He did that from time to time and as soon as we get deeper he backs away. the puppy syndrome.
Capris: you are right about that. I ignored him and DAILY he's been calling, email, text looking for me, finding reasons for me to go over and help him. I did call him back once and told him that I was busy. I just don't have the heart to tell him that I'm out especially after the way he's been acting trying and trying for something. For me its too late now. I afraid to go down that road again, get closer and then he back away as if nothing happened and leave me hanging. It becomes an addiction where I'm enjoying everything then he pulls everything away, the friendship, intimacy, closeness, etc....if he wasn't like the ocean waves I'd hang around.
the term dudette is what I have only heard from surfer girls. They are called dudette because they are supposed to be "butch" and guy like. that is how I see it as a woman that acts like a guy. At least that's from my background from growing up from southern california.

Well when it comes to Libras & their wishy-washynesss, there is no known cure for this. The best thing for a non-Libran person to do when they notice the indecisiveness in their Libras is to just accept that they are that way & go from there, whether the next step is moving on or staying in the situation to try to crawl through the weeds. Libras are very sensitive & can possible be very hurt when it comes to anything they love OR that they've invested in, possibly walking away from them. So, when it comes to dumping them or cutting them off, there is no right/wrong way to do it, b/c either way they will be hurt. With knowing that, you should strive for just being honest. If you are content in your decision to leave him & if you are ready to move on then technically WHY he's so indecisive at this point shouldn't even matter? He could respond to that question by telling you all that you want to hear OR by explaining himself in a way that you don't necessarily agree with, & if either is the case, nothing will change either way. Just be honest & up front with Libras. They hate cutting off the communication with those they care about b/c commuication is so important to them & sometimes they expect for people to stay in the "Storm" & battle it out with them; they sometimes mistake a person staying with them through it all as meaning that person is loyal, & that's not always the case. They forget that even the people that love them can only take so much & that even those who love them dearly, have the right to walk away from battles they know deep down they can't win. After you dump a Libra, they might try to talk it out/work it out with you. They'll try to salvage the friendship/relationship as much as they can. BUT, the ball is in the other person's court. It all depends on how content/serious the person is about walking away.
Whow, walking away from a Libra. Good luck with that. They always want to be friends after a break-up. How do you break up with a Libra...EASY...Leave their a** alone.
I remember when i tried to break up with a Libra once, and oh my goodness....argued me down. I changed my phone number. DONE end of STORY.

I agree with Red_Diamond.
You have to changed your number and anything other extreme measure to get rid of them. I really don't know why they insist on being friends.
And "not being friends "doesn't mean that you hate them or anything. Sometimes not being friends can be a good thing.

Bella, I guess that is just the Libra nature. I don't keep friends with people I have dated. You??re not my friend. You??re someone I dated. What in the world??_every friend I have in my phone book is someone I dated. Look these are all my friends, and guess what I dated them all too. Isn't this wonderful?
Like TasteofChaos said, they come back once they are over it and want to talk and be friends. For me when our time is up then it's up.
Bella I agree it doesn't mean that the person hates you. If I see you in the streets??_Hey! How are you? How you been? You look great??_that's the end of that.

my intent was not to call you guy like or anything - i call those whom i know as females on forums dudette sometimes, as opposed to dude. there are very few terms for addressing someone - woman, girl, babe, 'insert name', ..
personally, I'd give a generic response, which is 'dude', but it just seems inappropriate for a woman.
and I didnt grow up seeing surfer girls call each other dudette. So that was never my intent.

Hypnotic. been there and he's become more aggressive with reasons why he needs to be with me.
you have to tell a libra to give you what you want from them. sometimes we can get the hint, sometimes we can't. but it doesn't matter. we won't give you anything unless you ask for it. at least not in a situation like this.
if you never told him that you wanted it to be serious (i didn't reread the first page and can't remember if you did say this), you can't blame him for backing away. libras will always back away when they aren't sure how somebody else feels about them. always.
we only know how you feel if you tell us.
