@MysteriousTaurus, I can't speak for all Libra's, but it was always the small sentimental things that I appreciated the most and I'm still that way today. Something as simple as a sincere card was something that I would hold on to forever. I still have cards from every Taurus guy I dated when I was younger, and we're talking almost 30 years ago. Just two days ago I was clearing out my keepsake box from my Navy years, and read every letter that I had ever received and they all still made me smile. Well, they weren't all from Taurus friends, but other friends as well, but the cards given to me by my Taurus exe's were well thought of and very meaningful, which meant way more to me than any material gift.

No, I actually married a Capricorn..I know right? ..whouda thunk a Lib & Cap...lol, but the Taurus guys have always held a special spot in my heart and even 30 years later, we are still friends and still communicate with each other from time to time, but one of them was definitely marriage material...I guess it just wasn't the right timing.

@Sugarfoot, I am not the most emotional person in the world, but a sincere genuine card gets me every time too..LOL

I guess I'm the weird one here. I'm not big on gifts. When I do get gifts I prefer something practical for me. So yes, the person knowing me and thinking a little is a good thing...but my mom is the only person who still buys me gifts. I'd rather spend a little time hanging out and having fun than for you to waste money on something for the sake of having a gift for whatever holiday...

I'm a hard person to buy gifts for anyway, when I see something I like/want, I get it.

I do get what I want for myself, true.

And actually as I speak I'm sitting next to all my unopened Christmas gifts from people. Haven't gotten around to opening any of them yet and we're in February.

Haha, that's perfect. The fact that you have no idea what's inside doesn't diminish the appreciation one bit. I've always liked the saying, it's the thought that counts. This just shows how little the rest of it matters. Tiz would still be smiling if all those boxes are empty.

Nah, this is how I've known a lot of Libras- practicality.

I would be so mad if I bought somebody didn't even open the gift I bought them. I'd be like, "Mofo give me my gift back." LOL

Is it really that different from opening it and putting it on a shelf somewhere?

I get where you're coming from, which is why I'm anti-gifts in the first place. No one spends a penny, no one clutters a shelf or closet. Come hang out, talk, have a drink, go somewhere, whatever...something like that.
