Libras: Who do you like more--Scorpio or Taurus (Page 2)

Please stop generalizing! We have whipped on Taurus all last week and Scorpio gets their share and we had fun with the Aquarians, who shall we pick on this week— Let's find something else to talk about this subject is played out!!!

You're right, ladies. And if I had it to do all over again...I would.
I have some great Taurus friends and a couple of them are fella's.
That was just one of those romances that was too good to be true and it was an owie when it ended!

Well I'm a Libra and I'm more into Taurus because we have more in common so why not. I've never expierenced a relationship with a Scorpio.

How can you say that you have more in common with Taurus if you have never even given it a try at all with a Scorpio?

I've had a relationship with a scorpio guy as well as a two taurus guys. The difference between the scorpio guy and the taurus guys for me is that I'm still good friends with my scorpio guy 12 years later. My taurus guys and I speak, but I'm afraid we're a bit disconnected. We don't have the emotional continuity that I need to generally behave normally. We also have a few communication problems, which prevent us from fully understanding each other. Whenever we are together, which is once in every 2-3 years, we either irritate the hell out of each other, or we start up a whole new dramatic relationship- based solely on sex... because after a while, there really isn't anything else. I've tried to be loving and understanding for my taurus lovers whom I still love dearly, but it seems that nothing that I try to do for them is the right thing to do for them, so I've accepted that we are not meant to be. Even I agree that I am sometimes unwilling to let go of that warm, sensual, loving nature of taurus guys, but realistically, we do not go well together- kind of like oil and soap water--- we seem to blend at first, but in the end one is dissolved by the other. In the taurus- libra relationship, it is libra whom is dissolved. Even though we try hard to cling to our independence, we give in to their desires for the sake of general peace, and for our personal sanity- whether we are right or not in that particular situation in which we are arguing. I too thought at first that they were the best thing for me since sliced bread, because no one before him had ever been able to satisfy me both emotionally, and sexually like they had been able to, but it only lasted for a time. After the pretense was over- the real deal began. Our once blossoming relationship became grimy and black from the soot we piled on to it each time we argued without final resolution. I mean don't get me wrong, I love me a taurus... one of my closest friends is even a taurus female, because she is so dependable, but as lovers, libras and taureans are emotional disasters. I think that libra's hurt most in this one, because taurus is more dominant and less flexible, whereas libras want to keep them happy so much that we become their doormats- just about. We stay with them because we are addicted to that warm, comfortable, emotional candy that taurus provides us- but we need to realize that our strong nature is threatening also for taureans. We present ourselves in a way that makes taureans insecure and weak. They sometimes even may lose their self- esteem, because of this. No one likes someone who causes them to feel like less of a person, and that is what we do. Taureans need to feel like they can survive in the world around them , because the world is a very real place for them, and when we do what we do, they lose that ability to feel like they can survive. Naturally, to us our mannerisms are natural, and we don't see anything wrong with what we're doing, so most times we don't know that we're doing anything wrong. What is it that we do? Could be our highly critical attitude, our love of luxury, or even our highh standards. We shouldn't give up what we like, but we do need to be a bit more sensitive to their needs, and we need to be warmer to them. Start small and build up to greter things. About scorpio? They will be more consistent in whatever kind of relationship we have with them- whether it is friendship or romantic. They will also know where we're coming from when we talk with them. We have power struggles with them, if they threaten our much needed indepence by trying to be restrictive with our personal freedom.
Generally, taureans and scorpios alike are good to us only in moderation, but scorpios may be more tolerable in the long run.

I can have friends of any sign. Lovers...well, I have never tried a Scorpio. I tried a Taurus for a brief time. Many of the posts describe the fantasy vs. reality very well. One day, it seemed he was nothing like the man he presented himself to be in the 'courting' phase. I, too, have learned to trust myself...above all others.
Aquas and Taureans are both fixed. Not a pretty thing, when conflict arises...I found that I didn't like myself at those times (nor did I like him...). I would have to say in a battle of wits with a Taurus, Aquas win...but, we hate to fight! (It is not a pleasant win!!)

I guess I didn't have anything worthwhile to add to this post...

I am a taurus Sign, and I would like to coment to some of this also.
We are conservative, Nice and very steady abou what direction we want to go, We are also very Comited.
IN the bedroom we are Sexy, sensual and wild. But no one would ever know that from the conservative nature we have unless they are intimate partners.
I am after a Libra and have been for 4 years, Problem is Libras weigh everything out all the time and its slow.

Been out with a scorpio and i had a very passionate time! But overall i love my taurus man and he would win the contest hands down! Ive never had such a good time with any other person and he satisfies me completely in every area!

ER..LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAA... okay, well let me tell you this, i was with a libra guy for about a year and the ones who dissolved was me o_O lol He was the secretive, lying, playing with emotions, type of guy =/ didnt know that but you know some ppl..they like to hide that part of themselves..hehe. Anyway, welps lets just say that the taurus/gemini(cusp) girl was the one who always waited, cared, loved, was honest, and yeah..while the libra guy lied about everything..played with MY emotions like some sick joke..and treated me like a whore. Which i am NOT one. He tried to take my virginity away but lets just say i made my point across that im not letting him. And so, yeah.. i broke up with him and thank god. I'm going out with another guy now and by the way hes a sag.. :] we're happy with eachother and its going really well ^___^ but the point is maybe we shouldnt REALLY base everything on SIGNS..cus i know you libras are thinking "THAT IS NOT ME!!!" because im sure its NOT. I don't know any Libra guys except for my sisters ex-husband. A very bad man. I can't even tell you all she went through! There was one other guy that was supposedly my ex-husbands 'best friend'. He was also a Libra and when my husband at the time was away, this guy showed up with drinks and movies etc.. (at night)thinking he was gonna score a little. I let him squrim for a while and then sent him down the road. I never told my ex what he did, but I never had a problem with any of his 'friends' again!!!

Careful... because just like us Librans, Taureans are always looking for what else is out there for them, and whether or not it's going to be better with someone else. To be with a Taurean, as a Libra, you will have to suppress a part of your personality. The part of you that wants true freedom- LOL!
Good luck with that. Taureans can be sweethearts when they choose to be, and yes, when they are, we can let down our mechanical barriers, and pour out a deep, overwhelming, pleasurable love on them, but not before... They usually will decide that they do not know what they want, and you would have poured out ALL of your love on them... they will leave, and you will have committed the ultimate sin of leaving your true sensitive self emotionally unprotected. Mockery? You may be used for their own selfish pleasure... after that realisation, how will you face yourself? but if you like that momentary carmel-like sweetness, and you are willing to risk it, then go for it, but know that you will later part. Sleep with one eye open. We are masters at love, if they want to play at the game of love, we have already written the rules! Whatever results, is their own fault. It is not because we are mean, it is because we need to protect our emotional stability. Let them know that your iron fist has become an iron arm. let me add my 2 cents:

My best male freind and my very best friend is a Taurus. The sweetest, most patient understanding person I have EVER met in my life. Love him to death..but we will never date..it's just not a possibility..

4 of my closest friends(2 female,2 male) are all scorpios. the two women I have known for 16 years. The men: one is an ex that was a bastard and a year later we are extremely close friends after we let our guards down and learned to trust and try to get to know each other all over and in a different way. And you know what?

He is a wonderful guy. He is also the love of my life(if you excuse the bastard thing from almost 2 yrs ago). We both treat each other better and he is someone I would be devastated to lose again.

The other guy? He is a sweetheart who adores me..a good friend but a busy friend.

I say it can go either way depending on the personality of the person and where they are in life!

Enjoyed your post!!! I think it always matters on a persons personality. We all bring to relationships our life experiences. How we decide to use them, whether for the good or bad, depends on how you look at life. Some people just click and you can catch wind or a the same wavelenght.
That's what is nice to find. Hard to do Sometimes it takes awhile to understand and sometimes we never do!

I am a libra 22/10 so nearly scorp and have been with a scorp born in the same year as me ,for 2 yrs...at the moment understanding one another is really becoming an issue, sometimes were on completely different planets, i find all this scorpio dark side a bit oppressive, and my male scorp finds my lighter approach to love somewhat superficial... i think that scorpios and librans are two of the strongest personalities in the zodiac and a libran will never find another sign that loves so intensely, but all in all i reckon that us sometimes overly sensitive airy headed librans just cant handle the scorpio sting..i'm still trying to work out if i can continue the fight or not...
