Libras are not perfect. Far from it. But so fucking what? No fucking sign is perfect or even close to it. And if there is a sign that thinks that they are, they can kiss my yellow ass. Do I think Libra's are weak? Yes. But so do I think of every other signs out there. We all have our weaknesses. Still I'd argue Gemini* receives more astro-hate on average & as a sign than Libra is subject to. I swear, I hear 2-3 times as many complaints directed at Gemini & the Gemini "personality type" versus Libra.
*Personally I can't find much fault in Gemini on a collective scale. IMO the "bad eggs" within that sign are few & far in between. What's NOT to love about Gems? 🙂
To me it's nothing personal when someone declares their distaste for my sun sign. They've likely had negative experiences coloring their opinion of Libras & that's really all there is to it.

I've only seen this "nuh uh" and "you didn't come on here to praise us, so GTFO" mentality in two forums so far: libra and cancer.
We don't have these issues in the aqua board either. When we get called out for our weaknesses, we take responsibility and acknowledge that at some point we did it and the rationale behind it. In fact I'm actually trying to fix my aqua flaws from the complaints we get on there because I'm guilty of it.

Eh, I saw a tad of it on the Pisces forum when I posted there a few weeks ago. Wasn't so much "gtfo" it was "We're not accountable for anything!" mentality and they took my situation personally. Someone who frequents it more than I do informed me that they do this quite often- lack of accountability and taking issue with another Pisces' actions as a personal attack and they get defensive, justifying someone's shitty behavior.
I've seen some extent of it on a few others too. Don't recall which though. I only frequent like 4-5 topic forums regularly. It IS a noticeable trend across DXP though. I think a lot of people here are just living in lala land, tbh. Some of the shit I hear about behind the scenes kinda proves it, too.

Of course I'm bias. But do you think Libras shouldn't stand up for themselves? I think they should. Yeah, in the long run none of this shit matters. It's DXP. I doubt people are really like this in person. They could be either worst or better in reality. But people are still people with a mind, emotions, and feelings and, not going to lie, I am bias because a lot of these negative traits do apply to me which is fine I accept them. I don't care. But I'm not going around treating people like they are brainless and that they can't make up their own minds just because their views don't align with mine (ok I do but I am an Aries 😛). I could careless about pointing out of bad traits. I do it all the time. I just can't stand hypocrisy and bullying and I can't help it if I point it out when I see it.

You say they get butthurt too easily and take things personally, but then they don't defend themselves. From everything you're saying it takes a lot from saying the right thing, being the right person, to not take things personally, but having a spine and standing up for themselves to fit your definition of right. Can't get anything wrong or you're on Rocky's shit list. Why should they give a shit about what you think is right or wrong way of behaving when you give them shit for caring too much about how others think of them? It's not like Libras are eating babies and drowning puppies. People have the right to feel what they feel and react the way they do just as you do. aqua09, i see your point with that story. i have to stay i was never one to do that (not even as a young person) but i did (and still do to some degree) deal with the almighty guilt of not being able to please someone. i'll stand up for myself and ultimately do what i want regardless of how others feel about it but don't think i don't torture myself by inflicting unavoidable hurt/frustration/unkindness on others. i do. even in my advanced age, it still stings a bit. is that a flaw? maybe.
what started all of this is was the charge that our flirting was out of control leaving broken hearts in our path. as tiz said he hasn't had someone tell him they were led on. i've had a few advances by people who have gotten the wrong idea but it was because they saw what they wanted to see. they assumed that because i took an interest, i had taken an "interest". when they looked at it in the cold hard light, none of them said they were led on though.
strangely enough with my current SO, i had to practically throw myself at him. after 6 months of ridiculous, overt flirting on my part, showering with gifts, bending over backwards to please he still didn't realise i was interested! so is it us? is it others? it's probably a mix of both.
