Well the objective of trying to control somebody is to gain something out of them. Be it leverage for future needs, or favors for present time. You can essentially get a higher salary, sexual favors, free things, or even feelings out of other people. For some people it is their modus operandi, like the Cancers that I know. They manipulate people and their feelings in order to get something out of them. For others its a defense mechanism like Pisces, who would rather drive you up a wall than let you creep into their mushy center. Like aPP, who would rather fuck a football team than be with Peri.
I see, good since you dont want any of that by controlling someone ... it shows you are a good person.

Something I've noticed only recently.. There are lines in the sand that are drawn out for me. I can't control it. There are things that I'll never tolerate no matter how much rationalizing I try. Like what that Cancer bestfriend did. I just lost any love I had for him. There is no going back and all it took was for him to cross that line. So nothing really I have control over. Same with females, sometimes a girl will say or do something, and just like that, she is dead to me. You would think being a Libra you could forgive and take it easy, but those lines define who I am and I am in no position to change it.

Yeah, you guys are forgiving and rationalizing, and often take FAR too much relationship bs (esp with Aqua or Sag vipers? haha), and constantly looking at all the angles and trying to figure out if it makes any sense or is right for you to be pissed off or upset. Your tender, tender hearts deep inside.. you just want love, and to not be hurt or taken advantage of.. you want what most people want, only maybe you (secretly) crave it a leeeetle bit more (sign of Partnerships hehe)..
But Leebs AREN'T pushovers, despite the bleating claims of the unenlightened.. cross certain lines with a Leeb, go too far on something he REALLY feels deeply and truly about.. *click*.. you're dead to him, no mulligans. You can't UNSEE what is seen, you can't UNDO what is done.
And that's why Libras often come back around if he's unsure or still thinks something could work... and when he knows for sure it's DONE and can't be recovered from (whether by HER unforgivable words/actions or HIS logical, final decision about what's BEST).. he never comes back.

I've worked on this STUDIOUSLY for many, many years.. and only in the last couple have I found any real measurable success in overcoming my own defense mechanism.
For a young (and previously abused) girl like aPP... those walls aren't going to come down any time soon, if at all. She will have to completely tear down her own psyche and ego and id, and rebuild it from the ground up. It's a daunting task. :c

True, true.. and I try to be sweet (though I occasionally am most assuredly NOT haha).. but..
I must point out... you Fire girls.. two Sags and a Leo... and you ALL KNOW there ARE some similarities to your Libra man troubles.. and with each and every one of you.. remember it's easier to look at something objectively when you aren't standing in the middle of it.. with each of you, you can see the OTHER girls' problem/faults/mistakes MUCH more clearly than your own! lol
Heck, I fall victim to it too... and the hardest thing I've done in a long, long time was to swallow the "free medicine" I dispense on DXP, hold my head high, and walk away from my Libra after two years living with him because he wasn't treating me as I deserved. HARDEST.. except for staying strong NOW, and not letting his charm pull me back in. Gonna take more than making promises and showing he CAN treat me right for the past seven weeks.. it's gonna take time.. and he may or may not have the strength or willingness to do what it takes for as long as it takes.. and I'm okay with that, cuz if he can't step up then he's not the man for me. THAT'S what inner strength/power/conviction does for us women.

Contrary to popular belief, my douchetastic Scorp father did NOT tarnish Scorps for me - he is the EXCEPTION, the GREY LIZARD. I GET Scorps, on a very deep and profound level.. even if I joke about their obsessiveness and testing and revenge fantasies... (generally) Scorps are some of the most amazing people you will ever know. I STILL love every Scorp I ever loved! Hmm I had a libra guy after me and we went on one outing. Real cute guy, but really no attraction there. When he told me he had just gotten out of a 3 year relationship right away I told myself "Yeeeaaah that's not gonna work out."
