The ups and Downs of being a Libra

Do any of you feel like it's hard being a libra sometimes? Being judged for being too nice, when those who comment have no idea of the inner struggle that comes with being diplomatic? Why does it seem that we are often the most underated of the signs? Aries and Scorpio, ruled by mars are seen as the warriors of the zodiac typically. Though every sign is special in it's own way, I think we librans understand the nature of the warrior in a unique, duel-sided fashion. I honestly believe that most who were born under the libra star were once warriors in a past life. But now we understand the emotional side of war in this life, considering we put peace and harmony above all else. And if any libra lives long enough, we will all learn that before there can be true peace... Peace within ourselves and peace with others, war will have to proceed first. I think many of us will find ourselves hating conflict, but always in the middle of it. Why? Because in some way, we are diplomat and soldier all in one. Two extremes, this is what truly keeps us in search of balance at the end of the day.

Most libras I know just can't admit that they put the wrong priorities first before anything else and call it being fair, they do too much, but don't calm down to do step by step things, ur not going to finish everything, and you can't please everybody, get use to it, u balance so much but could never make a decision about anything, but yet u call it fair, you guys worry so much about so little, but don't have the heart to say no to anything, then u miss out on a lot and blame other people for your own slow ways of doing things

I don't think I find it hard per say, but we do struggle at times. It can be very difficult to find the balance at times. Staying balanced is the biggest struggle for me. But I'll tell you Missfury that the older you get the less you care about what others think of you when they get it wrong. The more secure and comfortable you get with yourself that will shine through and the conflicts become few and far between. We can't expect a life with no conflicts. They are bound to happen. Focus your energy internally and build yourself up so that people can not tear you down. The ones who can see the work you've done will get it and appreciate it. The rest you don't worry about.

I hope at some point I do stop caring. I always welcome the conflict because I try to trust in myself enough that I can make way for justice, fairness, and equality to prevail. it doesn't always happen, but I NEVER stop trying. EVER. But comments like the one above (not sweetlibra) is what frustrates me so. I guess this was why I left DXPnet at first. This place seemed to be a mirror of how diverse, yet unfair and insensitive the world can be. Why can we work to understand each other better? I suppose it sounds silly to those who view themselves as "Realists", but I promised myself that no matter how hard life gets, never to let those experiences harden my heart, and to always trust that justice and harmony will prevail.

My BFF is a libra and trying to get her to understand that u can't please everyone is hard for her to do, it's like she has to do it to keep peace, but life is about give and take, love and pain, that's true balance otherwise life would be torture without it, you have took take something away in order to get something back

This is base on what I have seen, and what was told to me, and I based it on what I think, it all goes to the pint that libras need to please people, when they should be pleasing themselves first, you can't balance everybody if your not balance yourself, who's being fair in that fact, no one cause in the end u still end up being disappointed just for the simple fact that the balance is off

If one can except that one can't change the world, but to except it for what it is, balance will come, ignorance will follow those that try to seek otherwise instead of trusting what's In front of them not trying to worry about what others think and taking a decade to decide what's right and wrong

I see where taurusnikki is coming from, because all the taurians in my life are like that. They truly don't get us, but that's okay. I can't concieve the notion of simply accepting that you can't change the world, or that you should accept things as is. To me, this idea of "Accepting" is complacency. For me that isn't good enough. I think most librans draw the line somewhere, sure we can spread ourselves too thin, but i think in some ways we are backwards. Most other signs might need to put themselves first in order to become more balanced, but i find that for librans, we need to put others first, and in that we find our balance. This doesn't mean that we constantly need to please others, if anything it's just as fruitful for us as it is for the other person. I view "People pleasing" as allowing yourself to be taken advantage of so people will like you.

I love my BFF who is the best libra girl I know, I absolutely adore her, but sometimes I wish she would say no, and stop people pleasing others for the sake of peace, when I know she has a voice, and the only time I see her get take that option is when someone pisses her off, and believe me I just love it when she shuts someone down, it's fraking beautiful

My male libra friend, he's ok, but at times he hides things from me, like last night, we were going out to dinner and he told he some personal things thati could have sworn that he told me everything about or at least that's what he said he did, but anyway he had a breakthrough and confess everything to me, and get way he did.......because he was afraid if I got to know the real hi that I would leave the friendship, cause I haven't been around to hangout with him, plus I had a feeling he was hiding something, it's like he had to please me in order to be liked, which I hate because u don't know the real person, my libra BFF never did that to me, she told me straight who she was, but the libra guy just let loose, and in the end I told him I'll still be his friend but the lies and false advertising has to go, or I'm gone

I think with taurus females, at some point they do stop getting along with libra females. this is not to say that true harmony and deep friendship can't be achieved, but i find that the taurus has to let go a lot and put herself in the librans place, and allow to feel cetain things that most taurians with simply put away. they aren't typically patient people, and i think to really develop a deep connetion with a libra, patience is key with us. but of course, this is only my opinion based on my experiences, as ms.taurusnikki has voiced her opinions based on hers.

I find that this is what keeps the taurus at battle with themselves, and when you are not getting along with yourself, you can't get along with others. Just as the libra has to ultimatly realize that you can't make everybody happy, the taurus must realize that you can't always make things happen yourself, and sometimes patience is the key to getting where you want to be. I do agree that once a taurus and a libra realize their issues, get real with themselves and each other, a true partnership will arise. Plus, there typically is a natural chemistry with the two, but it takes a lot of work to keep it together.

I doubt that you could be a better bully than me, for the simple fact that u even need to state that u would make one, for a scoprio placement, you wouldn't even need to stress that, sorry but I battle for a living and I never give up, i just let you hang yourself and watch, then tell ya ehat u did wrong, thats the only way you'll learn, good luck with the scales, Im always happy, if what I say hits a nerve good luck figuring yourself out, either take it or leave it,

Yep. My dad was a Libra and my mother was a Taurus. His mistake was not letting her win until after the divorce when he figured it out too late. Better late than never though.

My boyfriend who is a libra as well started out half telling truths and later confessed and was fearful I would leave him because I wouldnt like the real him. It takes a loooooooot of patience to love a libra man.
