@ tiz and 911

Precisely, I believe in being in love at first sight but not otherwise. Part of it is an obsession (sometimes blown out of proportions), or it may simply be infatuation and a case of endorphins. It burns a beautiful flame, in the beginning, then to others it may be sparks and an explosion of fireworks, but who would really want fireworks every night for the rest of their lives, it would eventually become nothing but a drag.

I'd trade my place...

for a New Yorker's.

haha, then I would prefer Geneva. NY is my 2nd love (after miami of course), but I could not live there. Too stressful. Its dog eats dog there and if u are not into money as much, I don't see a point of trying to struggle there. Just my op

Libra 911 : Honestly I think Parisians who live outside France are just more humble than the Parisians in Paris. The difference is they had to adapt and learn to speak English. lol.

Les Parisiennes simply have their own flair, sometimes they can be the most disagreeable lot to the general public but for myself, they are just who they are, incredible. You are either on their wave length or not, most are not. French expats are a pain in the arse- 99% of the time...in my humble opinion.

Yeah, they chose someone who was living closer. I can understand their choice so I'm not too disappointed.... Oh well. Another interview tomorrow in a law firm. Sighs. Back to square 1. Isn't life ironic?

Its ok, u will get it eventually! πŸ˜„ Interview process always sucks! I know, I hate it!

Keep at it dear Pech, you will get there.
Practice makes perfect, more interviews and more at 'ease' you would be in portraying your best side.

I've been all around Lake Como but never got off at Bellagio, no. Still, it won't disappoint. Everywhere around Como is unbelievable. I was more distracted by finding the location they filmed Ocean's Twelve at. Hell of a house.

Lake Como can do no wrong, ever.
Did you find the house?

(I can not believe you were in one of the most beautiful places in the world and you were fussing over finding the location of Ocean's Twelve. Hah, you are one of a kind tiz.)

thanks LS, you're sweet my dear. It just makes me sad. I was this close to go to NY and get my CELTA, now all my savings are gone & I have to wait another year or so 😒

At times, life may throw us many curves, seemingly diverging us from where we would like to go but in the end this may only add upon the journey which we were meant to be on, maybe it is universe's way of telling us we are just not as ready as we think we may be, it is an opportunity to allow us to grow and develop more so when the chance does come along, we will strike it down, pining it as our own.

Yes I'm a geek πŸ™‚ Especially for photography direction on film. Or anything Vincent Cassel related. And I did. It's actually one of the first places you see from across the lake if you come from the most frequented side of Como. If I'm not mistaken, in the end George Clooney bought it or something along those lines.

The Libran took me seriously, no need to people-please πŸ™‚
My writings are rid with sarcasm and tongue-in-cheekiness most of the time.

*Sidenote: nearly every Stinger is a director, producer, actor/tress in their own minds, life is but a planned out film, take by take, scene by scene. Yes accompanying soundtrack to follow as well*

Oh, the irony of living, so much so we keep on dying our many deaths in order to be reborn, hopefully before the final act, concluding scene.

Hah, tiz...once upon a time I suffered from an identity crisis and figuring out where I belong. My conclusion, I belong to no one, I belong to no place, I belong to no society, career, hobby and so forth. For I am bound to nothing but my very own soul, wherever it may go, I go, for then one could never be lonely but full to the brim with love and life, a constant thirst to be sated wherever I may wonder upon, be it mountains, seas or the very plains of this universe. I roam, free, soaring high, flying, diving into the darkest trenches of earth itself, seeking.

So what do you feel is next on your journey or that you seek? What you just described is normally considered to be the stage of female awakening

Oh, that process have become already but a past journey. It is hindsight now.
Actually that is the precise problem, I have no idea what my current journey should be, from experience, defining such phases will only hinder my progress as my focus and concentration are diverted from what matters at hand. One could suppose a continual expansion of self and investing more into my process of re-inventing and re-creating myself time and again, as often the case within my lifetime, and reaching perfection, thus even greater success has been but the very things that has kept me busy all this while with the occasional flicker that may spark within my heart, whom plays a very fickle song, a dance which triggers more danger than otherwise the case.

Although why must it be 'female' awakening, it could be applied to both genders as it were.

I'm all for a community of people who are authentic with one another, the more power to all of us, and if we can have a good time together, why not. I'm not really into the 1 on 1 idea of relationships. Because it's restrictive, and everyone knows it and feels more of less suffocated. Let's not even talk about marriage here! lol. Commitment, is scary as hell. Maybe the only person to be committed with is ourselves? I never thought of it... but everything seems to be pulling us in that direction...When everything else collapses, you're the one left standing.

I don't know... Can't we all re-define relationships? Making them just unions of like minded souls living in harmony, respect and unconditional love?

Okay, who is talking through me right now... Get out of MY BODY! lol

Born alone and die alone, life merely throws a bunch of rules at you to screw you over, love inclusive.

*If you're finding focus in expansion right now, however, fair enough. I would never begrudge anyone that.

Well as you can see I am 'defined' but not defined so much so as to restrict myself to a particular category or box, thereby leaving oneself ignorant and close-minded. There requires a certain level of expansion after one but has reach the summit, for after such an enlightenment, the skies are the only limits. One must soar to reach it, focused yet free.
