It's an 1100. A little too big and too powerful for me, I admit it now.
One time I was taking it out for a spin (it was my ex's bike 🙂 ). I went to accelerate into traffic on the highway. For some reason, my hand slipped on the throttle and I ended up giving it way too much gas in low gear. Let me tell you, when the front end of it came up on me I almost had a fucking heart attack.
You literally have no time to act...or not react. In that moment I just remembered to keep my cool and not panic...let the bike sort itself out and not fight it, but hold the fuck on!! I was going fast enough that if I had fallen it would have been a situation for me.Let me say that I didn't ride it again. Too stressful lol.
That is usually when the men comes in declaring, us women, should never ride what we cannot handle or control. Le sigh
Despite the heart attack, you must admit, there must have been an adrenaline rush somewhere in there.
