I thought this was referencing the Netflix series, 'A Series if Unfortunate Events,' since it's been launched in the U.S.
As for he rest: Yoga and meditation. I have found it has helped me to cope with life. By practicing yoga and meditation, I have learned to be "in the moment," and a big part of being in the moment is accepting how things are. Try Ekhart Yoga, I LOVE their online lessons.

I was actually loosely referencing the books and their theme.
I agree yoga is amazing and will check that out, I'm counting down the days till I can walk again and get some stretching and real movement again! Thank you for the suggestions!!

Wow. Hmmm.. Life sure has a weird way of working sometimes. Offering a big, big hug, and hope your destiny becomes easier as time goes on. Hang in there!
Thank you!!
Thank you all for your super kind words and hugs!
While I hope things turn for you, I'm curious how the laptop got stolen from your car. Did you blatantly leave it visible? You should never leave any hint of valuable items visible..

It wasn't out or visable but I have an SUV and I had been at a work event so I have boxes in the back, it's unavoidable for me.

That sucks. Do you think my ex is having unfortunate events. Makes me smile if it's a Scorpio moon thing.😆 @ the ex part
Try burning some sage.
Whenever my best friend goes through a hard time she does this to clear the air...
Can't hurt right.

I actually bought some sage this morning, glad to hear others have had success with it! Thank you!
Sending you a big (((hug))) lady
I promise you things will get better....i have noticed when people go through a lot of shit, it makes them stronger and eventually nothing seems to phase them...this happened to me....everything imaginable from lots of deaths, fires, car accident, a flood in my home, near death experience, r/ship break ups etc.
Let me know if you want me to pull some cards for you

Friend's, I have over the past year experienced many unfortunate events, from weather disasters, destroying my home and car, to breaking my very first bone in my leg, to last night, my car window being smashed in and my work laptop stolen while out at a dinner. I have tried to hear the lessons, ie: stuff is not important - life is; I move too fast and work too much - slow down; I'm really trying but what am I missing? And I'm wondering is there a ritual, meditation, spell, something, I can do to understand and learn my lessons -center myself and move on from this, to easier times, so to speak. I understand that this is life but a little break would be appreciated. I had hoped that the new year would bring a calmer year but I'm not so sure now. What if this is the break and life is literally trying to put you on your ass so you'll rest more?
Oh, and I'm sorry about all the crap you've gone through!

I've thought a lot about that as well. Finding more balance, I tend to err on the side of always going, I think I need to figure out how to rest more and not feel lazy and guilty about it. Thank you for your thoughts and kind words!
