Posted by tctaThere used to be a place in town that sold books and stones/minerals/crystals/etc...I should go see if they still do.
there are lots of books out there as well - use the library as a reference to get started - all of the above is good info - you can also purchase small rough stones or polished for a reasonable price

Posted by CuddleBug88of course - don't go to "buy" just go to see / touch the stones - it's always a lovely adventure !Posted by tctaThere used to be a place in town that sold books and stones/minerals/crystals/etc...I should go see if they still do.

Posted by tctaYeah, I wasn't thinking of going with the intention to buy any old stone. I'm a touchy-feely person - I'm always touching everything when I'm in a store lol. I gotta check it out right. 🙂Posted by CuddleBug88of course - don't go to "buy" just go to see / touch the stones - it's always a lovely adventure !Posted by tctaThere used to be a place in town that sold books and stones/minerals/crystals/etc...I should go see if they still do.

My question is what would you reccomend as a sort of universal base to start with? Is there even a universal answer or is it more of "pick what draws your attention first" thing?
