Inspired by another thread...

When soul leaves the body...does it care about all those things left behind like

emotions when it was IN the body?

Like when my father died when I was 12 - I had never seen him in my dreams.

Well...maybe once and it was scary and I was upset to a point I wanted to die myself!

But IF my dad's soul went up and he loved me when his soul was in my dad's body -

does his sole care about me? And my Mom?

I can't complain...my life isn't half as bad as it could be - maybe he is watching over me?

Same with my husband - his Mom died and we had named our child after her...(jewish thing)

...and so far our child is highlight of our lives. So she had never said she saw her granny in her

dreams...

But is granny watching over her? (I hope)

So does soul care about the body it left?

I dont see why it would. I've always related my spirit to the dream world. It would make sense imo that if living means I'm taking in reality from an inside perspective, then the spirit takes perspective from an outside one. The body is what life is, the spirit is what the body and life was. That's why dreams take place from a 3rd person view, or at least mine do. It let's the spirit carry the soul and memory of the body along with it if it wants. Or maybe it wants to take the form of something completely new.

Ok well just trying to hide the truth. See when you die it's exactly like it was before you were born. Make sense?

I'm just being sarcastic. Basically I believe the world you see when you dream at night is related to the spirit world. That's it. If what I write annoys you that much just ignore me or block.

Amazing, scary, unreal...

Is it really happened or you just imagined it?

But we can never say 100% right?

If she had never appeared...that is my point!

Do they care about us after we were together and they are gone?

Or do they enter special place where we aren't part of them anymore ever?

Its own body?

I doubt it.

It will probably be a relief to finally be

unencumbered by the weight of the world.

Literally.

I hardly think this is our natural state.

We're in perpetual decomposition after

Decomposition may be a bit strong but you

Are we still talking about me? Because if so then about 3 days of no shower I'm pretty much decomposed.

If not though I'm gonna leave.

Yes it really happened. I woke up crying, realizing how much I have missed her.

I know she was dead, that's why I asked her what she was doing there, she looked tired and so sad. staring at me. I don't know maybe they care? or maybe that was just my mind, creating crazy dreams, my unconsciousness.

No. Don't delete. I'm really interested what's going on and what death really is.

And something else. Few years ago I saw a horrific dream, it was about my relative, old woman, really mean and nasty. So she passed away in her sleep and honestly I didn't feel sorry for her. Anyways her husband died before I was born. So I saw that dream where her and her husband came back for me. They wanted to take me, and something so weird, they were both deaf but could see stuff miles away. I was trying to hide and ran into the barn, there was a ladder and I climbed on the second floor, pulled the ladder and hid in the hay. I could hear them breathing and at some moment my eyes met hers and I screamed the hell out of me, I was shaking, I was freaking scared, I told my aunt and she said it's not good if dead people want to take you. And something very important, my aunt asked me to describe her husband, who I've never met and even never seen a picture, so I did and guess what, it was perfectly accurate.

Not sure if I missed the point of this thread because I've been thinking about the same thing recently.

I hid my post because I thought I revealed a very vulnerable part about my life and it was just 'meh'.
No. It's ok. I am pretty sure if we are going to post - this thread will shape up into something decent.

I am surprised people are saying they were just thinking about the same thing.

So we are reading each other? Hope not!

What you care for in this world - is defined by your Identity. We didn't have an Identity/Ego before joining this world and that's something that stays behind - even when we're gone.

You need an Identity/Ego to care for another Identity/Ego. You need to be part of this world. You need a body, a heart, a brain... to be able to manifest and manage emotions and feelings, which... do have an energetic imprint. After all - everything in this universe is made of energy (quite literally). Even an Emotion - is just Energy in Motion.

That being said, if you form a really strong attachment to this world - to some people, to a place or if you go though an intense experience before dying - you might be able to leave an emotional residue behind (a shadow - a ghost of the former self). Though, that energetic residue is stuck on that last emotion (be it an obsessive attachment or a caging fear). It's incapable of creating new emotions...

On the other hand... your identity - can still coexist within other identities ("live on through others" - as some would put it) - till the last person who remembers you is gone.

The soul cares. It depends how evolved the soul was at the time of passing, how much development the human self and its personality and the soul together could go through.

The soul is nothing but pure energy, love, so it cares about everything and everyone, since it is one with all things in universe.

The soul has the task to review every life that it has chosen to be incarnated. While watching the 'movie of life ' the souls relives every emotin that the person had gone trough. (usually karmic reasons)

Some spirits can be stuck between our world and their world. It means that they are too attached to the self(es) and the physical life that they don't want to leave, so they don't choose to follow their guards to the light.

It is common that he spirit of visit the loved ones mainly to console you, to let the family know that they are okay. I'm sure your father is with you every day even just for a short visit.

The reason why you 'haven't met him' yet is because you are not receptive yet. Spiritually you might not be sensitive enough to feel his presence (see or hear him) Your mind is busy, dealing with eartly matters. No problem, just work on yourself, make your mind still and speak to your father every day, he will hear you. Do it with love, thus, love is the universal language for all souls.

Inspired by another thread...

When soul leaves the body...does it care about all those things left behind like

emotions when it was IN the body?

I had difficult relationships with him. And as forgiving and simple I am- I can't let it go!

I know it sucks but I don't want to ask him for anything because I am feeling wrong that I

am holding those grudges to my OWN father. However being frigging Gemini I am not

forgiving those who hurt me. Even its my dead father who I am part of...

I have to pray and ask God to make me forget and forgive him.

Not that there is anything terrible! It is just his parenting was too strong.

His love was to make me a perfect child and he was trying to hard to be proud of me.

And I was just a little girl! He died when I was 12! Almost a year in a hospital before he died.

So I was 11 when I lost him. However I can't forget. But I have to.

I wish you took your head out of your butt and spoke a language everyone CAN understand. Or just keep silent!
shut your whore mout when soul speaks.

In my country they say the dead come to their own funerals and also visit people to say goodbye. So they care!

I could bring you some indirect evidence.

My mother in law loved me very much. When she died, I was divorced and sleeping with my new boyfriend...apart from the night she died! I knew that she was terminally ill, but didn't know she will die so soon. That night I moved to another bedroom, don't remember why. It was the only night in many years we slept in separate rooms.

One "explanation" for this coincidence was that somehow my subconscious mind knew that she would die that night and also THAT SHE WILL COME TO SAY GOODBYE TO ME, once dead. My subconscious mind made me sleep in a different room so she doesn't see me with another man.

When my beloved grandma was ill and died (without me knowing it) I felt unusually depressed for at least one week. One day, the depression was gone. Not only that, but I felt cheerful and extremely relieved. On that day, unknown to me, my grandma died, during the early hours. I attribute my change in moods to the communication between my grandma's soul and my subconscious mind.

I'm sorry about your dad.

I never thought of emotions and souls in that way. Usually I think of it in terms of love, like romantic love, but still never thought of that. I am sure your dad's soul still has a connection to yours.

I think emotions are more a human thing, though. At least that is what I am learning. Its funny, my dad said something to me a couple weeks ago along the lines of "spirit does not care about how you feel, there are no emotions". What I take that as is as I am going through some soulful, difficult things in human form I am feeling all kind of emotion (sadness, heartache, etc) but the soul is actually detached from those emotions.
