Manifesting your ex back

I just came across an article about using the law of attraction to manifest an ex back. Some of the suggestions included letting go of negative emotions and thinking positive thoughts all day (great!)

And writing yourself romantic letters and emails pretending to be from your ex and setting a place for him at the dinner table. (Creepy and weird)

What do you guys think? Have you tried this.

The fake emails seem a bit unstable.

I'm not trying any manifesting

I just clicked on a link and thought it was a bit over the top.

My ex is sick. I know this and am trying to come to terms with it. I can't help him so I just have to pray that he will help himself.

Oh you want him back?

Maybe some day but not at this point. It would never work with things as they are now.

I do think your thoughts can manifest and create your reality.

I do believe in the power of positive thinking.

But the writing pretend emails and setting a place at the table seemed over the top.
