they make rate faster and have chill jobs...something i like. in the navy advancemtn isnt easy. marines, all you have to do is make a score, and when you get enough points you advance. navy has to take an hard ass test...lol. if you dont score enough on it you dont advance. gotta make a percentage. ive been in long enough to make corporal almost sarge if i was a marine. hahah
