For hair, I oil from root to ends, put in a ponytail for 30min and wash off with shampoo, once a week.
I use two mixtures:
1. Bhringraj Oil (mixed with sesame oil)
2. Mixture by Three Sisters (Rice bran oil, safflower oil, Avocado oil , Borage oil, babassu oil, wheat germ oil, neem oil, rosemary essential oil, sweet orange essential oil, ylang ylang essiential oil.
The amount of times you do this is based on your Dosha. If you are Vata dominant... you could easily do this every other day and instead of 30 min, you could sleep with it overnight.

Is it bad if you wash your hair everday?
I don't feel properly clean otherwise.
Sonething is just amiss.
I had the same issue. HAD to wash and blow dry my hair every day to feel clean.
They do say washing every day takes away the natural oils / protection for hair to grow healthy.
Ever since I started washing hair every other day and oiling once a week... I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on the health of my hair by hair stylists. Was even asked to hair model.
Well, i skip the blow drying. Cannot stand it. I walk out the house with damp hair no matter what weather.
Maybe i can use this lockdown to not wash my hair lmao.
What oil(s) do you use? I like oils a lot.
Yeah... blow drying definitely did dry my ends. Try not to as much anymore.
The oils I listed on this thread, I use for hair oiliation once a week.
Best nourishing is sesame oil.
But Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, castor oil, avacado oil and olive oils are also pretty great carriers.
Then you can add whatever essential oils best suits you.click to expand
