Are they considered Christmas lights? How long can I keep them up?

I always have the white ones up in my living room throughout the year, I like the way they look and the ambience they add to the room. The blue probably not so much, but it's your house/lights so if you like them, keep them up for as long as you want.

You can, of course, ignore the rules, but it all depends on you and your community. You live in the Northeast right? NYC? I think they care more about that than say Central Florida or Arizona. Some people dont care at all, it just depends.
