Yes, all of that. But, which lesson did you in particular find most useful for your personality? Your personal ah-ha.
I think Jesus is the most misunderstood person in the world. I don't blame others for that; Christianity is more complex than we think. What made me stick to my faith in Jesus is patience and the will to understand him more by reading the bible and by attending the mass every Sunday...

I can't choose just one. I guess, learning to let go of the past made me more proactive and gave me peace. Allowing God's will to happen erased all my worries.

I had much resistance with those thoughts and it didn't happen overnight. Then, one day, I realized that it makes sense after all.

God's will is better than our plans for ourselves. That's what I realized. Letting go of the past makes sense coz it will give you peace and have something to look forward in the future.

I still have to work on going too far into the future. I'm not sure though. It has helped me and may be a gift... as disturbing as it is, most situations are rightfully disturbing.

Jesus was way coolEverybody liked Jesus
Everybody wanted to hang out with him
Anything he wanted to do, he did
He turned water into wine
And if he wanted to
He could have turned weed into marijuana,
Or sugar into cocaine,
Or vitamin pills into amphetamines.
He walked on the water, and swam on the land.
He would tell these stories,
and people would listen
He was really cool.
If you were blind or lame,
You just went to Jesus,
And he would put his hands on you,
And you would be healed.
That's so cool.
He could have played guitar better than Hendrix,
He could have told the future,
He could have baked the most delicious cake in the world.
He could have scored more goals than Wayne Gretzky.
Jesus could have been funnier than any comedian you can think of.
Jesus was way cool.
He told people to eat his body
and drink his blood.
That's so cool.
Jesus was so cool.
But then some people got jealous of how cool he was,
So they killed him.
But then he rose from the dead!
He rose from the dead, danced around, and went up to heaven.
I mean that's so cool.
Jesus was way cool.
No wonder there are so many Christians.
"But then some people got jealous of how cool he was,
So they killed him." lmaoooo.

We need to read the bible more and spend more time in churches to understand this better.
-don't try to start a religious uprising, or if you do, don't let them catch you.
-the ultimate backstabbing bitch will be hiding among your friends the whole time
-always bring your own food and alcohol at a party, and you could become the most popular guy

No. The idea that God is responsible for Evil comes from a misconception about the nature of Satan.
People hear that he is an angel and presume this means God created him, or more importantly that he had a choice in creating him. Satan isn't JUST God's ex-right hand. He is also God's truest Antithetical counterpart. Where God is the embodiment of Truth, Moral Goodness, Strength, Reward, Fortune, Blessing, Happiness, Love, Glory, Honor, Authority, the Light, etc. Satan is the embodiment of Lies, Deception, Secrecy, Obfuscation, Nothingness, Weakness, Lack, Suffering, Evil, Darkness, etc.
While it is true that in a sense God created satan. It is not in the same sense that he created the rest of the angels, the universe, the Earth, and Humanity. He created him in the sense that by God simply existing, Satan's existence is inevitable. As soon as Light exists, it begs the question of what the opposite counterpart is... thus "Let there be Light" begets "Let there be Dark". You cannot have 1 without the other.
Unless you want to say God is evil for existing. But if he didn't exist, nothing else would either. Herpderp.

yes, especially when you give because you just want to satisfy the other person's needs. 🙂

Yea, I have heard many times before that a lot of people have this big spiritual revelation and seek redemption near the end of their life. Out of fear and desperation, I presume.
Unfortunately I'm ballz deep into all things pertaining to science and I've had horrible things happen to me in my first 18 years of life that most don't see in their entire lifetimes, that no all powerful God would or should allow to happen, so that alone is two reasons behind my disbelief. I reject a God who allows mental illness, starving children, rape, murder, etc, to occur so rampantly.
Some day, you'll figure out the reasons why.
Why does God allow? Because he gave us free will.
Now, what I still don't understand are the calamities.
The most valuable lesson I have learned from Jesus is to serve others, which I do a lot of. But I need to learn to serve others without complaining. I need to put on a happy face and just do it.
I'm not religious, but Jesus thought me that there is nothing wrong with the Jews or muslims, they are just misunderstood and misinformed.

My dad never believed in an omnipotent God....but believed there was a healer man called Jesus.
People who find some spiritual belief before they pass over, often do so more peacefully .... I am a spiritual healer and see what a belief in something spiritual can do for people....it is quite lovely 🙂
...and my dad wasn't fearful....he wanted to pass over to be with mum and thankfully even at the 11th hour, he was given that spiritual belief
I was so delighted for him

Yup.
More than that, they're both the descendants of
Abraham.
Isaac and Ishmael, respectively.
Hopefully nothing. That dude and his dad are hella racist, sexist, and homophobic.
