Well personally it's not a question that would bother me and I would answer truthfully, although like you say the question should only come from someone who you know cares about you not just some indiscrimanate date, but I've honestly never been curious about how many women my men have slept with, I just want to know how many they were "in love" with, the differences between men and women that in the end stems from the same reasons for wanting to know 🙂
I have a female aqua friend (yes really a friend, not talking about me!) who has been sleeping around with quite a few men lately, just plain sex most of the time. Being her friend and being a female I don't consider her a slut or anything. She has to do what she wants to do. Theres a vast difference between caring what a man thinks and caring what a man think OF you, I care very much what men think which I why I love reading their thoughts on most subjects, what they think OF me is irrelevant - I think highly enough of myself 🙂
