What is on that monkey's chest? Is that the coloration of his fur?

I think it's more like a circus than a zoo, to be fair. 😛
Trapeze artists, dancing monkeys, clowns, dogs in costumes
lol
Awwww! I heart your pictures P-Angel! 🙂
Thank you for showing them 🙂🙂
I like the Lion picture very much. Reminds me of my dog on hot days.
I'm glad you enjoy them .... you usually entertain me with your pics, so now you get to see my stab at photography

i don't like zoos. animals should not be behind bars, they should be free.
The animals born in captivity wouldn't stand a chance in the wild. Most zoo animals are born in captivity, ya know.

oh jeeeeezeee
It's cool. Fight your cause girl
Some animals are in captivity because they were rescued though...and can't be returned to the wild due to injuries and such *shrugs* we could let them die, like they normally would without our intervening...but it's also human intervention that has saved many species from extinction
you're not a girl, are you? lol
my bad
P,
These are nice shots! I love the gator one.
Thanks for sharing them 😄
You're are most welcome ... I have more and I'm going back to the zoo today because my battery ran out before I got to the Kangaroos and Giraffes.
I love animals too. I talked to one of the zoo keepers and they said that the animals were raised Hand-fed, so they have to remain in some kind of controlled compound. It's not a bad life though. We went on their little train around the zoo, and there are huge areas that were empty, and the guide told us that that's where many of the animals live when they aren't on display .... so, they have room to roam around, they aren't always caged.
Well except for the tigers, of course.
In the baby goat picture, that is my Virgo's hand the goat is eating from.
VirgoHero, I went back to the zoo today and tried to get another pic of the alligator for you, but, he was hiding under palm leaves and wouldn't come out.
I took more pics of the kitties for you, Wynter
The tiger licking his chops, being just around 3 feet from us ..... we probably looked like dinner
