Hahaha people can sometimes have an intimidated look in their eye but you can remove all that by finding the nearest place to sit down so everyone gets comfortable. The power of eye contact is unmatched, and I don't need to tell you Scorpios that!

One would imagine, many would prefer you seated, and often, hah. Your height may prove handy in more than one ways though, finding you in a throng of people, would be entirely easy, especially on a train or otherwise.

Eye contact?...with your Gemini Moon, you would use your Silver-Tongue!

i can't remember that convo... πŸ˜›

so there's a jo malone vetiver now?

i like the one i posted. it's earthy. less fresh. guerlain is fresh now but it used to smell like weed in the habit rouge bottle. should have bought it when i could!

/dead

πŸ˜›

So you prefer an earthy tone to it, well do not purchase the Diptyque, it is very faint and light, luminescent presence, do try out the Tom Ford though, it is earthy, elegant and sophisticated, a lethal kill, not classically used, the Vetiver but melded with other notes to produce an interesting blend. The Serge Lutens Vetiver Oriental is powdery and soft, not very powerful at all, there not what you would be in search of.

Jo Malone had Vetiver for some time now, personally one would prefer to blend it, layer it with their other scents, to great something unique, at least that is also what they are known for.

Bald - Not quite there.
Ugly- You could try.

'Hot babes', grazing in pastures far away from you, can you make it there in time πŸ˜‰

The very same brand in which you complained the candles as far too expensive *laughs* Remember, that one luxurious candle you splurged on a while back?

i know the brand didn't know they had a vetiver.

Huh? What are you looking at me for, who said I bought Diptyque? 🍹

They have nearly 'everything', have you been to one of their boutiques, my head was spinning, though Jo Malone could rival that as well, as with a few others.

What? Do you purchase the candles with Bacon or Grass Scent? 😈

Body shape? And what body shape is that? Do tell. Lol

as for my style . it's a mix of understatement and "where did you get that piece". just hints of this or that. a tight skirt with a loose blouse. or a tight shirt and looser pants. leather, cotton, clean cut things. i hate sloppy/untidy clothing. my main colours - all shades of black hehe. i mix white, camel.

the other day i had on black skinny jeans, black suade heels, a mustard coloured tank top, and on top of that a tight black waistcoat. hair in a lose pony tail. pearl studs. my golden watch. make up always au natural. just black eyeliner was a bit more than usual. voila.

Sounds nice.

when i get to work i always observe the ladies outfits. i just make little mental notes and ask myself - why the bling ring and the thomas szabo necklace and a bling bling watch?!? just why?

I empathise, do not go all shark on them though, keep that fin at bay πŸ˜‰

noo i never would bite them. i think fashion is a statement you make - some get it right, others not. it's personal taste. i just personally think the less the better. you should wear jewelry and not vice versa. i take great pride in the fact that female colleagues ask me for advice in the fashion arena πŸ˜‰ i give honest advice, always.

My advice have always been dress your age and find clothes that fit your personality, do not fall for trends simply because they are the new style of the moment. Always pay attention to body shape, and ones features. FInd colour palates that work for your assets and not against it, study ones lines and see which cuttings work. Never wear anything a size smaller or a size bigger, unless one is going for a special look that 'works', otherwise keep it tailored, it makes even the most supposedly common piece stand out.

my sentiments. πŸ˜„ ten gold stars (thanks for mine hehe). since i turned 12 black is the foundation of my wardrobe. i build on that. i love fashion and mixing materials and just know what i can pull off and what not. i too have days when i don't look good....but tomorrow is a new day. so try again lol. i love the transformation. and also playful things such as suspenders over a loser white t-shirt and tight dark blue jeans with budapester shoes - just when you wear masculine stuff, make sure your hair and make up is more feminie and you wear dainty jewelry - ahhhh the list goes on and on - thanks for this read. i will be an avid reader β€”

Yes, the contrasts are fun to work with, masculine/feminine, soft/sharp, varying lengths, textures, layering, but always experiment. Fashionable mistakes will be made! however the more one makes, the closer one gets in achieving that cult knowledge of really understanding what works. One adores, a solid foundations, and then build, add, layering, complexity within simplicity, few distinct highlights here or there, for example, a scarf, that could be tied normally, one could use as a belt, or a hair tie, or a shoulder strap on a bag, or creatively draped over a shirt etc. etc. or the cuffs of pants, one could roll them, tuck them in, trim them to fray slightly, etc. or shirts, work with the buttons, roll up the sleeves neatly or have part of the cuff flaying out, the collar could be accessorized with small pins on each corner and so forth.

an old school friend of mine, thomas (libra dude) when we saw each other at a school re-union; his dry comment after we had a couple of drinks "you and i always dressed the best" πŸ˜„ he even asked to be untagged in an old school pic i had uploaded on FB - too embarrassing to be seen with the others lmao.

The House of Dior is nothing without Galliano at its helm, nothing. He brought out a very refreshing take on the classical 'New Look' as created by Monsieur Christian Dior and now, with the new Artistic Director, Raf Simmons. It is all going downhill, the minimalistic look distracts from its former glory, there is no distinct personality to the designs, it all fades, the Haute Couture was a disappointment.

(Personal Opinion)

awww thank you, likewise dear ladyscorp, likewise. πŸ˜„

grooming is second nature to thomas. πŸ˜„ it's not even so much vanity - it's just how he is. he would never appear anywhere looking like a slob and insult you with such a presence. unfortunately, others do not see it this way.

Off the topic but I was just thinking which sign likes to show off the most with brands (not only cloths, just about everything) and its def Capricorn (usually male) imo. They also have amazing style

For the gentlemen, from an observational point of view. One would think Librans, Bulls, and Goats, on occasion a Lion (but their tastes, hmm, varies, they may not be the best, but they do flaunt and show!).

I def noticed the minimalistic look in their collection this year - especially in begs - models r simple with not so much imagination (the only thing I noticed r very bold colors they use this season like bright pink, orange, etc

The bags are a hit or miss, there are a few classical pieces and of course there is the Lady Dior which could hardly go a miss, especially with the plethora of choices one may choose from, their skins, colours, hard wear etc. What do you think of the really bold colours, yay or nay?

Overall, there seems to be a drastic shift internationally from the spotlight focus that was once on Chanel to Dior, which is expected since it have been but a while since Dior was of the Cult Status in which it was in the late 80s, 90s. Although the bags and shoes being churned out are regurgitated classical designs, not that they are in any way bad, simply lacking in creativity and charm. The true eye sore is the Pr?t-??-Porter and Haute Couture, very sad to see it so but their marketing seems to have given way for a rise in popularity, therefore whatever they are doing, they are doing it well enough, or it may be because they have been gathering many stars/celebrities within their add campaigns as of late, much less use of models and increased sponsorships all round. Even their Haute Joaillerie have been but shoving its foot in the door, these past recent years, they are truly slowly finding their own voice.

it's very predictable. merc, brioni, hermes, rolex, omega, patek, chanel, mont blanc. but for me i admire that they have purchasing power. i don't like my taste going over my purchasing power. i have jupiter in capricorn.

Interesting, one would find it horrid if one had purchasing power but lacking in complete taste, money never buys style , it may buy you cookie cutter looks but never true a personality mark of your own. Taste/personal style will definitely reign as priority for myself, then followed closely by purchasing power, not for flaunting's sake but for quality's sake, admiration for the art, the craftsmanship.
