There's a convention coming up that I'm really wanting to go to. Thinking it would be awesome to dress up as well.

Any ideas on a character or costume I should go with?

It's called "Smallville Comic Con". A quasi-local Superman themed get together that they're trying to turn into a real annual con.

haha well first cosplay venture I'd suggest going simple. If you decide on harlequin I'll be rooting for the Batman Arkham series version

Lycra bodysuits to contrary belief, super hard to make right and you have pieces going in bits that can be embarassing *cough* speaking from experience.

Half wondering about doing a steampunk getup. I've got a few things in my closet already that I could toss together. Maybe find some treasures while thrifting. I've got about 20 days to finish this project.
